I like that they mention how many were on government assistance. Its nice to see they are putting that money into the economy

When I was in High School, I had an idea that I might want to be a cop. I was taking my elective courses at a satellite school (Criminal Justice, 3 hours a day) When I was about 18 I finally came to the conclusion that I just wasn't enough of a jerk to actually be a cop. But in the meantime, A couple of us got caught skipping school and were delivered to the Dean's office. They had pulled our files and just as we were marched into the door, I hear Dean Watson exclaim, "Look, he takes Criminal Justice at the Skills Center!"

FTFAone suspect denied receiving aid, however had in her possession.

Being a woman, I'm gonna guess she was on the sales end of prostitution, rather than on the purchasing end.  I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that that was the case for most of those on government assistance.

But, please, keep demonizing people so desperate to keep body and soul together they're willing to sell their own bodies to do it.

Also, why the hell is prostitution illegal, again?

Ulgh, as I said in the other thread about this:

Judd said Jeremiah Hintz, 32, is graduating from the police academy in Highlands County on Wednesday.
"So, he thought he was going to be a law enforcement officer," Judd said. "Well, maybe he was celebrating early when he showed up last weekend."

Congratulations, asshole.  You've ruined the possible future career of someone who wanted to pay for sex.  What a horrible crime!

No, someone too stupid to realize that you only get away with crimes AFTER you become a cop.

Of the 78 unfortunate jailed suspects, 14 told deputies they were receiving government assistance. That is only 17% FAR BELOW THE NATIONAL AVERAGE!!!

fark the author up his ass for inserting an irrelevant statistic to suit his own preconceived world view.

As long as I live I'll never understand why it's illegal to pay for sex. There are hundreds of things you can pay for that give you pleasure in one sense or another, so why is this one singled out?
