So, the dude has a flat panel, but no DVR-- so he just records his tv with his camcorder. .

I would think 3D in this case means the car came crashing through the living room.

IAt the start of the video he is at crossing Hawthorne Boulevard / South La Brea Avenue while traveling westbound on West Century Boulevard.

You can confirm that building shows up in the video at 0:06 and continue to follow the car westbound on Century.

You can follow it past a liquor store on the south side, and a gas station on the south side, and at 0:26 you can find the pink adult store on the north side, and there is really only one tree that large on the block.

The video is delayed somewhat, but there is a clue in the windows at 0:35 as to where the video is being taken.

It's here:

The All-Powerful Atheismo: This was farking staged. Why exactly was he filming the TV? This is LA we're talking about. Some dumbass probably got involved in this high speed pursuit on purpose in order to get his friend to film it like that.

I'm sure everyone has a friend that will go to jail just so that they can post a 40 second video to you tube.

Ronnie_Zman: lewismarktwo: utsagrad123: It shouldn't be too hard to find out where this guy lives then.  I'm sure random people on the internet paying him a visit, couldn't turn out bad.

You'll notice the car was not in the process of turning when the convoy came into view outside the window. TV stations do these things on a delay ever since some guy or three died on the air. Maybe someone who recorded the chase might figure it out. Odds are low.

They can't catch them all!

It's a little suspicious, though supposedly this guy was doing laps of the area.

The news announcer sounded like he was describing the repeated actions of the driver. Like, "He does this each time, slows down right after the light ... then gets in the wrong lane of traffic..".

So the video was set up but a police roadblock wasn't?
