Worst. Ice-fishing trip. Ever.

If she needed beer, couldn't she just tap a vein?

BS! Maybe there were zero left when they found her. But no way was someone in Minnesota caught without a roadie.

Yep, that would be bad, don't you know.

Subby,
Looks like the hospital is taking care of that

Almost went all the way to tuna town.

I'm confused. The pic shows the pond as being about 15 feet wide, directly adjacent to a road, and across from a residential area. How in fark did no one notice that car for 18 hours?

I'll bet the mirror up over the back seat got fogged as well.

Good she prayed. Otherwise it would of been springtime when someone noticed the car sinking into the edge of the pond. And the stench would of been nasty as the body thawed out.

Maybe that horn on the car would have helped her be found by someone....

I'm also confused. TFA says that her car was overturned, and her feet were in the water.

Because they're not nosy neighbors. Keep to themselves. Good neighbor types.

Even without clicking, I knew she'd weigh in at 65+ years of age.

Getting all the air she can breathe.
Yes, air is a fluid.

"..a Minnesota woman who was trapped in her overturned car on a frozen pond says she could not get her door open..."
And the other three doors?

"... or crawl out a broken window..."
Because?

Could she not roll any of the other windows down?

According to another article I read, she was in one of these ponds.

The picture in the article looks like it was taken with a fairly long lens, and in real life the houses are much farther away than they appear. Also, keep in mind that a car sliding off the road in the ice doesn't make that much noise, and if a car is down in a ditch in the weeds even five feet off the road you're not likely to see it in the dark.

It doesn't help that it was in one of those crappy "suburbs" that don't have any sidewalks and are downright hostile to anyone on foot, and that it was relatively chilly last night, to the point where most people probably weren't hanging out in their backyards drinking beer and cooking barbecue.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't wanna be stuck in a car with this.

Don't be so quick to judge. That stuff is brewed by Shell's Brewery in New Ulm. Those German folks know their way around a wort. And I'm not just saying that because they sponsor my rugby team.

If the other cyclists had stopped for the sign they might have found her sooner.

She could've just had some of the pond water and imagined to herself that it was American beer.

The car was upside down so it looked as if they were going up. Very confusing.
