GAT_00: George W. Bush: Diet cola with a slice of lemonOh come on. Yes, we all know he was an alchy. So at least tell us what he drank before he turned into a quitter.Speaking of which, does anyone know if the President still went to AA meetings while he was President?
FlashHarry: 34. Dwight D. Eisenhower: Johnny Walker Black Label on the rocks.grrr. and it's johnnie walker, not johnny. who's writing this shiat?
Mugato: William J. Clinton: Tanquerary Gin and TonicEveryone says he was the first black President.
BMulligan: Cthulhu_is_my_homeboy: BMulligan: The Incredible Sexual Egg: Ok, for starters, TR didn't drink do that shiat at all.Nor was he really much of a war hero, cowboy, or frontiersman (the famous picture of him in buckskins holding a rifle was taken in a New York photo studio near his mansion). What he was, was a brilliant self-promoter and one hell of a racist who based much of his foreign policy on Aryanism. The TR we know and love didn't exist. That's odd. I read all three volumes of Edmund Morris' biography, and came away with a very different impression of the man.
flux: buckler: I can't even seem to Google a definition for it. Some kind of cactus or vine drink?I think it's supposed to be octli, which is usually called pulque today. It's made from fermented sap and is milky white with a sour taste. Seriously, the guy went to Mexico and came back telling everyone about some obscure Aztec liquor. I picture him at bars asking for it and then complaining that all they have is tequila "which, by the way guys, not a lot of people know this but tequila is actually the product of Spanish conquistadors trying to make something like brandy by distilling agave plants, so it's, you know, it's hardly Mexican in origin. 'Oachatel' is just way more authentic. It's a shame they don't have any here, I could really go for a glass". Hipster President.

gingerjet: FlashHarry: 38. Gerald R. Ford: Glenfiddich Whiskey over iceit's whisky, not whiskey! The NYT style guide disagrees with you:whiskey(s). The general term covers bourbon, rye, Scotch and other liquors distilled from a mash of grain. For consistency, use this spelling even for liquors (typically Scotch) labeled whisky./"whiskey" is used everywhere except for Canada and Scotland
ten foiled hats: So which one had the 26 reds and the wine? Oh, wait...
thurstonxhowell: Jimmy Carter: Alcohol-Free Sparkling WineHistory's greatest monster.
notmtwain: 24. Grover Cleveland: Sazarac Cocktail A New Orleans sensation, which swept the nation in the 1880's.Hmm, I keep hearing about these Sazaracs. [www.neworleansonline.com image 150x233] I'll have to give them a try.

Karac: 43. George W. Bush: Diet cola with a slice of lemonWho the hell puts lemon slices in diet cola? I realize he's a recovering alcoholic, but that's just weird.
Uranus Is Huge!: Q: Which of these is John Boehner's favorite?A: Yes!
Mugato: what_now: Mugato: William J. Clinton: Tanquerary Gin and TonicEveryone says he was the first black President.Gin has got to be the world's whitest drink. Not according to Snoop.
