What you do in the privacy of your own bedroom is your own business subby.

Soft booters are lame. IMO. I'll take Casper Carver over that any day.

Just got off my carving board 45 minutes ago so I'm really getting a kick...

Never seen anyone do that on a carver before, wild. Always wanted to get one, but in the midwest the hills aren't really large enough to make it worth it.

Q: What's the first thing they teach you in snowboarding class?
A: How to say, "Whoops, sorry brah, my bad".

Can anyone out there from Summit county tell me how the snow has been so far this season? I usually go to Keystone and A-Basin around the start of February and from the webcams it looks pretty light for this time of year.

I was at Copper over the New Year. It's about average. They got above average snow for November and early December, but below average since then. For most runs, there's a decent base and minimal uncovered rocks/trees, etc. Some icy spots, especially late in the day, but no worse than one would typically expect. It won't be a bumper year like two years ago, but it won't be an utter disaster like last year either.

On the other hand, they've had more difficulty in getting some bowls and steeper territory open, so if you're a double-black-or-nothing type, you might be disappointed. But there's still a few weeks to go...

Why is this video from the future?

/And have I been watching so much Dr Who that it doesn't even bug me anymore when something is in the wrong timeline?

I'm guessing what he was doing was impressive somehow?

Thanks for the info. I was out there last year (first two weeks of February) and the conditions were great owing to the fact it snowed pretty much every night during that time. I heard from our local friends that apart from that window the conditions were fairly shanty so I guess we got lucky. I don't think A-Basin ever opened the backside (Columbine, etc), though, which was disappointing.

Imagine my disappointment when I clicked hoping for something special to add to my recipe binder and only saw the same general snowboard run I was doing almost 20 years ago. Back then, flatland riders were the black sheep.

Baaaaaaa.

Was severely disappointed that it was not a video of someone actually buttering some rolls in a smooth way.

It's fun, sure, but at the end of the day, you're stuck to the board.

Let's see them do this without the clamps.
