As for the hunting thing, I guess PETA wants 1,000s of dead game animals each year succumbing to starvation, rather than a quick bullet or arrow. That sounds humane. Of course, when did PETA ever know what they were talking about? They've taken what is an actual good cause, and turned it into a joke. I see them as being 100% like the Tea Party: Good foundation with a bunch of ione-eyed gin soaked carpenters building the platform they use for the platform out of remnants from out in back of a housing complex that fell to shiat in the housing bubble burst.

Nope. The only reason why I don't hunt delicious deer is because I am too poor a shot to ensure they die quickly and with a minimum of pain. You can respect the animal's life and still eat it, use every feasible part of its' body and then in return arrange for your remains to feed other animals. That's an American value that precedes European settlement, in fact.

If you're using social media to promote your personal and build your brand in order to profit from it, it's a bit contradictory to wine about privacy in the same matter in the same sentence.

They are using social media to promote their professional lives. They have mentioned something ABOUT their personal life, but they are asking to quit getting hounded/attacked/stalked, etc when they are trying to live their private lives. Coming out is NOT the same as saying "Hey paparazzi! Come root through my garbage, ambush me outside the mall, and print lies about me.".

One that comes to mind that they missed is the pro-windpower people who nixed the offshore wind farm because it would spoil the view from their vacation homes.

Your level of potential hypocrisy is compounded by your level of celebrity...and celebrities tend to be bigger hypocrites than anyone else. Yes, even more than political commentators because at least they feel the need to be consistent. I think if you make a living portraying gun violence in cinema, then you really should STFU about gun violence. Your not part of the solution! Set some boundaries on your hypocrisy and follow them. Jamie Foxx and choose roles that do not portray gun violence where lots of white people get killed if he truly has a problem with gun violence.
