She was a little nervous -- she hadn't performed on a red carpet since her trip to Ireland.

During the rape scene, you should have leaned over and whispered, "Are you turned on yet?"

I took a first (and last) date to that...

Me too, it was going great until the 'at least i don't work for a jew' line. my date was jewish, and the room temperature dropped 20 degrees at that point.

Did her nipples get hard?

During the rape scene, you should have leaned over and whispered, "Are you turned on yet? I've seen this twelve times, this is the best part!"

How in the hell was your penis coming in contact with her braces?  Was she trying to brush her teeth with your dick?

I've heard similar stories with people going to "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" on dates.

On the upside, if a guy isn't totally awkwarded out by the (richly-deserved) revenge sodomy scene, he's probably not a jackass homophobe with penetration/dominance issues. Always a plus for a girl, I hear.

A buddy of mine saw that with his mother not knowing what the film was about. The text he sent me was great.

Jodi Foster isn't a slut in real life. Therefore she is a hypocrite.

Mugato: Wayne 985: I have such weird feelings about that guy. I guess I feel sorry for him more than anything. Not that there's an excuse for hitting a woman and screaming racial slurs, but he is bipolar and an admitted alcoholic.

Well hitting a woman is inexcusable (unless it's Rosie O'Donnell) but that aside, he was vilified before that even happened. Apparently Roman Polanski can rape a 13 year old and flee the country and gets A-list talent for 25 years or however long it's been. Mel makes drunken comments about the Jews and has to finance his own films.

Rosie's a woman? When did that happen?

MagSeven: miscreant: Crewmannumber6: I always respected her for defending Mel Gibson, considering that everything she is is diametrically opposed to what he believes.

Didn't she have a movie coming out that he was staring in at the time? As I recall, she had financial reasons to defend him.

Mel was in The Beaver. It came out a while ago so the marketing is pretty much over. I think their friendship is genuine.

I don't think Mel was really in Jodie's beaver.

I don't pay much attention to Jodie Foster but I knew this in 1998.  Is she the last to know?

Cythraul: Dimensio: Jodie Foster is not openly gay?

It's pretty much a well known thing.  But she's never actually come out and said, "I'm gay!"

She never did a press release, but she's been living as openly gay since before she went to Princeton. Speaking of which, I would think a Princeton graduate would be able to put together a more lucid public speach.
