I'd like to upgrade to NOT BEING TREATED LIKE A TERRORIST when I'm in my own country.
So I don't fly.

You give your rights up when you fly, and that is un-American.

You're everything that's wrong with this country by saying that the TSA is "not that big a deal". Don't sit there an accept it, it's possible to secure an airport without the security theater. For example: Every airport in a first-world nation that isn't the United States.

Apparently the answer to how to get a seat upgrade, according to this article, is either to have reward points or miles, or to just pay for it.  Which... is one way, yes, but probably not what most people mean by "what's the best way to get a seat upgrade."

I have a tip for anyone looking for an airline TICKET!

You could either trade in miles or pay for it.

Works for almost everything if you know what you're doing.
