Cthulhu knows I'm no friend of Christianity, but I gotta say - even with CHRISTIANS, I don't expect mothers to traffic in porn movies involving their 14 year old kid.  And certainly not films of them performing oral sex on their own children.

I don't know why I'm surprised, but I am.

No, the teen didn't have sex with the two men or the anti-gay lawyer. She was raped since the age of consent in NH is 16.

Even cooler story, both brothers and my dad turned their lives around and are all doing well today. its weird, isn't it?  most of the christian organizations here in the US seem to either pay lip service to their beliefs or set out to deliberately twist and pervert their own ideology.  lies, hypocrisy, lust for power and control...money, sex, rampant greed.  plus the occasional drug use that seems to be sprinkled on top for flavor.  lots there to despise.  But you can't point any of this out to the rank and file.  they don't believe their leaders are corrupt.  at best, they'll abandon one leader who's been caught doing something bad and simply move down the line to the next one who's waiting to take over control of 'gods message' and keep right on truckin with the same exact message as before.

When you can't give consent due to age, another person generally has the power to give consent...usually the parent. For example, parents can give consent for people or businesses to expose a minor to explicit material which would normally be illegal. Might not be statutory rape, since her mother was involved. Not really something I've looked into before, but seems possible to say the least.

So.

1. Child endangerment (check)
2. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (check)
3. Child pornography (check)
4. Child prostitution
5. Incest (check)
6. Drug possesion (check)
7. Statutory rape (maybe)
8. About a million other offenses against various laws and general human decency

I am very glad to hear it; I know the odds are stacked pretty bad against people in that situation.

You bring up a really good point that's too often overlooked - that minor privileges (television, visits, recreation) are incredibly valuable in keeping prisons safe for both the inmates and the employees - this is too often overlooked by people suffering poutrage that an inmate with an excellent record and coming close to being released back into society, might just need some experience and practice being in people in a non-prison setting.

rynthetyn: Proof once again that the people who scream the loudest about how gays are pedophiles are the ones you need to watch out for the most. This one takes the cake as far as disgusting and perverted though. That poor daughter is going to need decades of therapy.

I'm to the point where the very MOMENT I hear a parent biatching about 'teh gheys' I immediately watch their kid more closely for signs of abuse. Seriously, if you whine about gay rights or gay people in the negative, I am going to assume that your kid is a victim of either sexual, physical or emotional abuse, and considering what I do, I'm not only bound by law to report any suspicion or findings, but if there's any evidence on a computer or smartphone that's been in contact with the school's network, you bet your ass it's going straight to the police.

And having talked to other teachers, this is a surprisingly good standard-operating-procedure. You don't want to know what some of the "God-fearing Christian" parents in small, rural towns do to their children. The dad who biatched in a school board meeting when $1K of the $35K intended for the football team was allotted to the drama club turned out to have been raping his son, the woman who didn't want gay and lesbian safe-sex practices included in health class was molesting her daughter and filming it...it's pretty much a tautology: If anti-gay, most likely raping kid.

As for how I'd catch such a person, well...kids in public schools have NO expectation of privacy on the school network, and while I'm really uncomfortable with the implications of being able and encouraged to scan a teenager's laptop for pretty much whatever the district wants me to look for, if it means I can turn over the evidence of a kid-raping pedophile to the police, I'll trade my own conscience for a kid's safety. Hard luck on the kids that their school hired an ex-hacker from I.T. to long-term-sub a couple classes, but considering I've already helped put one dirtbag in PMITA and get two kids into a safe foster home and some counseling, I think I can live with the implicitly unfair lack of privacy for minor citizens. For now.

It seems to be the other way around - there's something inherent in people who happen to be hypocrites and paedophiles that draws them towards Christianity. Certainly, not every paedo is a Christian and very few Christians are paedos, but there is absolutely a link there, particularly in the higher tiers of the religion, and denying it (not that you are, but Christians in general do) is nothing but willful blindness.

The SPKKKLC is nothing more than a hate group....who uses minorities and special interest groups to sue whites and groups led by white folks. Although they will list a group like the New Black Panthers (The Black KKK) as a "hate group"....they will never sue that group because it is black.

Not only that, she'll be going to a woman's prison, and women's prisons generally have a much lower rate of violence than men's prisons.

In women's prisons, child molesters and child abusers get the shiat kicked out of them. Although the violence is lower overall than in men's prisons, the one thing you don't want to be is a woman who abused kids, surrounded by other women who desperately miss their own kids.

when you've bet your reputation on a horrendously stupid idea, you often need to re-create reality around whatever facts you're given at the moment. Bigots have to do this a lot.

We had an incredibly obnoxious, pro-war, embedded reporter with my unit in Iraq, named Matt Sanchez, who was the darling of Fox News and the rest of the right-wing media, particularly of the most vocal chickenhawk bloggers.

It was later revealed that he used to work as a male prostitute and gay porn star.

The "Matt who? Never heard of him, and we've certainly never re-blogged any of his articles. Isn't he the quarterback for the Jets?" reaction was similar.

tee-hee...he has a wiki page. In the early 1990s, Sanchez performed in Pierre La Branche and Rod Majors.[2][4] However, in a 2007 interview, Sanchez commented that "I don't like porn, it reduces the mind, flattens the soul" and that he considers his pornographic career an identity outgrown.[3][14] [23]

Nope, never heard of her, nobody knows her, she never did anything for us, doesn't even exist, nope, not from around here, nosir, not one of ours!

These guys sound as resistant to criticism as Stormfront. Only with less balls.

when you've bet your reputation on a horrendously stupid idea, you often need to re-create reality around whatever facts you're given at the moment.

This wasn't the guy they used to give W softball questions in WH briefings, was it? I may have missed this one. I know, I know, the number seems to be absolutely limitless.

No, that was a different conservative douchebag journalist with a name similar to a second tier NFL qb (Jeff Gannon)

Haggard at least engage a male escort in consensual gay sex. This was beyond that.

AND PERFORMING CUNNILINGUS ON HER OWN DAUGHTER.

I normally don't like this sort of talk about entire groups of people, not only because it is hyperbolic but also because Republicans have used it to great effect to malign liberals, and I like to think we're better than that.

That being said . . .

I really can't blame you for talking about Christians that way, because they sure as hell haven't done themselves any favors in the PR department over the past twenty years. Perhaps a little generalized demonizing will force them to pull their heads out of their asses eventually.

/doubt it

It's kinda like some guy who always just happens to be standing around when a fire starts - once or twice, ok, maybe it's just coincidence. 650 or 700 times, you start to say, you know, I think maybe there's some connection here...

Gyrfalcon: platedlizard: Mangoose: Do you actually believe that child molesters have a harder time in prison than a burglar?

Not only that, she'll be going to a woman's prison, and women's prisons generally have a much lower rate of violence than men's prisons.

In women's prisons, child molesters and child abusers get the shiat kicked out of them. Although the violence is lower overall than in men's prisons, the one thing you don't want to be is a woman who abused kids, surrounded by other women who desperately miss their own kids.

Source: my friend the CO, who assures me that he sees what happens to child molesters in his own prison, and knows that it's a lot worse in the women's place.

Didn't Susan Smith (the woman who drowned her two young sons by locking them in a car, putting something heavy on the gas pedal, and aiming it towards a lake; then blamed it on a black man and nearly started race riots some decades ago) get beat up daily in prison, and then had the gall to ask what she'd done to deserve that?

pueblonative: Emposter: Bathia_Mapes: FTA...a 14-year-old girl having sex with two men on multiple occasions.

No, the teen didn't have sex with the two men or the anti-gay lawyer. She was raped since the age of consent in NH is 16.

Tornto Sun's story:
FTA: A New Hampshire lawyer known for her work with an anti-gay Christian legal group was found guilty Thursday of several sex charges after she drove a 14-year-old girl to Canada and forced her have sex on camera last spring.

That sounds like rapey rape to me.

I'm pretty sure that you can't get parental consent to have sex with a minor. At least not unless you're in Alabama and a wedding ring is involved.
Also - Canada? That'll add:
9. Kidnapping
10. Transporting minor across state / national lines for sex purposes.

I think she may even have managed to violate an anti-slavery law. I know there's a military regulation on that since a sizeable percentage of sex workers, especially in foreign countries, would be considered enslaved.

Have fun going to a federal pen with not only child molester, but slaveowner on your rap sheet.
