Ravens, Niners, Pats (probably), and Falcons? BARF. This post-season gets a big fat F from me.
Boooooooooring.

MBTAhole: What dumb coaching.
by Carrol for not kicking 2 first half fgs & for icing the kicker (though on reply it is clear the bryant heard the whistle and may not have missed otherwise)
by Smith for taking a timeout with 13 seconds left. Just a total, "WHY?" move

No reason not to call the timeout. Why would you save it, and force your field goal unit to run out, get set, and get the play off in 13 seconds, when they could take their time?

Primitive Screwhead: jimmythefly: Trollhawks breaking my heart. Hope next year is more awesomer, which would be pretty awesome.

They have a lot to build on. One or two pieces (WR & DT/MLB) away from a true SB run.

Yeah, I feel like they're built for a pretty good run of excellence.

I did sort of find it fitting that their season ended on a bit of controversy. I was pretty sure they'd be going to Lambeau next weekend, and I would have been a little bummed if the Packers would have won that game.

Mike_LowELL: Carroll needs to go back to college football.  I don't see how this guy is supposed to win an important game without professionally-paid talent.

Which is why Saban likes Alabama.

Oh, God. It'll be the Vapid Douche Bowl, and it'll only be settled by the two of them punching each other senseless at midfield.

Tough loss fellow Fark Seahawk fans.

Lots of points left on the field, bad prevent defense and a coach that made some bad calls.

Congrats to the Falcons for making the plays they needed to win.

I'm proud of my Seahawks. They don't give up.

Ok, I am done with the defibrillator. Needed it after that ATL "onside" kick.

Would love to see the Texans at least make a game out of this one. But, frankly, I've had all the excitement I need for one weekend. LOVE THIS GAME!

2013-01-13 05:31:17 PM
Its amazing that the falcons always play not to lose after getting a large lead, what's even more amazing is UGA is the same way. Easiest way to beat them is to give them a huge lead.

how long until next season starts?

Whack-a-Mole: Di Atribe: bionicjoe: How many times over the off-season will we hear about Seattle and how much will we hear about the Cowboys?

You can't blame Cowboys fans for that. You can blame their haters, though.

And I can't believe WTF I'm watching with this game. "Team of Destiny" is about as obnoxious as "America's Team," btw.

And it wasn't LucklessWonder who posts the same four pics at the beginning of every thread. Wanna guess who the person who does that roots for?
;)

Yes, this was easily the best Seahawks team I've seen. They accomplished a lot with one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. Here's looking forward to next year...there aren't that many "big time" players leaving, and Carroll has shown his draft savvy for every years he's been with the team.

2013-01-13 07:02:08 PM
We missed you, Chris Clemons. :( Every time Ryan got pressured, he threw a pick. Of course, we pressured him about twice all game.

No. Not at all. They far exceeded our expectations and the future looks bright for a change. Sorry, but you'll have to troll another fanbase.

Why the fark would they be mad? They were projected to suck this season, and they were widely ridiculed for their choice of drafting Wilson. They had a great season, and they look poised to have great seasons for years to come.

Some people are goddamned idiots.

or run up spike the ball 2nd down, run the ball up the middle to get the fg that much closer and then call the timeout at 3 seconds. so you dont have that entire debacle of farking up the squib kick that allows seattle a last gasp.

/atl still hasnt put together a full game since that giants game which is disconcerting
