bionicjoe: Di Atribe: If the Seahawks pull this out, their fans are going to be insufferable.

Well, more insufferable than they are now. Quite the accomplishment.

Says the Cowboys fan.
I've never met or seen a Seattle fan in person. Ever.

Hey man, when I start trolling other fans' facebook pages, you can call me insufferable. When I engage in tunnel-like thinking when it comes to my team, you can call me insufferable. When I think everyone is conspiring & cheating to make my team fail, then you can call me insufferable.

Maybe Cowboys fans were awful in the 90's, but that was like, 15 years ago, man. I haven't met many Seahawks fans in real life. It's the ones I know on the internet that are impossible to deal with. Most Cowboys fans I know are wallowing in the depths of near-Browns-like sports-depression over them. There's not much bluster left.

I found fault, but I'll let it slip.

It hasn't stopped anybody from firing a coach too hastily before.

Terrible punt. Great game.

ox45tallboy: Incorrigible Astronaut: No way. Anybody that knocks on the door for long enough will get there eventually.

Do you mean Seattle in this game or Atlanta in the postseason?

I meant Mike Smith, but then I immediately thought of a ton of examples (Marty, 90s Bills, Andy Reid, etc.) once I realized that I was talking about the NFL instead of college basketball :-P

2013-01-13 03:52:28 PM
Punt.

Seattle has 3+ minutes, 3 timeouts, and barring idiocy like the Green Bay punt returner, they will have the ball.

Again, at the 39. LOL

2013-01-13 03:52:30 PM
Now it's a good time for the Hawks throw an interception.

Queensryche

Though admittedly, I hope it doesn't come to that.

[rlv.zcache.com image 400x400]

What'd I do?

While I'm not really mad, I do like Queensryche, and I have heard some of their riffs effectively used on fox for commercial transitions. J/K.

Best band mentioned in the thread.

I was really surprised by that one.  Then again, I don't pay much attention to the Bears, so, y'know.

Well you have to look at Atlanta before he got there. We had never had 2 consecutive seasons above .500 (seriously)

And the only thing that could be said about that Bobby Petrino debacle was "At least we're not 0-16 Miami". We were looking for anything better.

Catching the very end of this game. Looks like I missed a good one.

My goodness. The Texans/Patriots game has to be a blow out. There's no way we can go 4/4 on entertaining football games in a playoff weekend.

Why, though?  I feel like I'm missing something here.

becksellent: ox45tallboy: becksellent: Wow, really? That's cool. I had no idea.

In the last 5 seasons, Atlanta's record is only second to New England. Seriously.

Crazy.  I know they've been good, but I really didn't know they'd been that good.  I guess they kinda fly under the radar, huh?  Probably just how they like it, I'd imagine.  :)

It's all those quick exits in the postseason. Admittedly, to teams that went on to win the Superbowl, but they get tagged as an "also ran" way too often.

It's been a blowout until the last 10 minutes or so. You came at a good time.
