ariseatex: StrandedInAZ: I think both Jessica Chastain and Daniel Day Lewis will repeat at the Oscars.

Since Oscars combines drama & comedy categories, I think Jennifer Lawrence has the Oscar, not Jessica Chastain. DDL, I agree.

You may be right. I haven't seen Silver Linings so I completely forgot about that.

Here they just switched to the news, so it is the daily run down of who shot who, and tonight, for a bit of variety, apparently someone drove their car into the Apple store lobby.

I honestly think that's how the guy he is playing acts. Affleck met him and people say the guy comes off as wooden, it's one of the reasons he did well in the CIA.

The first film I ever enjoyed Affleck in was Hollywoodland. I thought he was fantastic, and it's honestly a fascinating film. And I've enjoyed every film he has directed.

It's not the filmmakers fault that Canadians don't count as people.

so he cared about accuracy in history with the character yet lied about the story which made the movie.

cameroncrazy1984: The English Major: StrandedInAZ: My sentiments exactly. I'd have been okay with either Amy or Tina winning, but I just knew Lena Dunham would win. The critics LOVE that show.

Grant Heslov, he also directed The Men Who Stare at Goats, I didn't mind it, not fantastic, but not horrible.

The more I think about it, the more hypocritical I think it was of Jodie Foster to go on about living in the public spotlight since she was a child and to then go and call out Honey Boo Boo, a six year old child, on national tv. Yeah, Honey Boo Boo's parents put her on a reality show, but she doesn't deserve one of the best known actors of a generation dissing her in front of the entire world. Jodie Foster doesn't want her life scrutinized but she just trashed a six year old to make her point that the media should leave her alone.

There's a difference between being an actress at 6 and having your every embarrassing move displayed like a circus attraction and made to look like a fool by your Huttese mother at 6.

Honey Boo Boo still doesn't deserve to be trashed publicly by a famous actress because of her parents decision to put her on TV. She's still a six year old child, and Jodie Foster of all people should know better than to trash a young child like that.

Maybe. But it's not like Honey Boo Boob (I can't believe I actually typed that out) has any shame or anything.

Hmm. I'm not sure I'm on board with this. I don't see Honey Boo Boo as any more worthless than, say, an athlete who gets paid millions to throw a football around every Sunday. Her show isn't my cup of tea, but my solution is to simply not watch it. And at least her family (the Boo Boos?) isn't using tax dollars to build a new home with a retractable domed roof and luxury boxes, so she's got that over the NFL.
