Ooba Tooba: Around 10 years ago when gas went up, it would be 03 or 04 cents. Now it jumps up 50 cents at any given time. I have a coworker who said that as a gas station employee a few years ago, his manager would send him out around the neighborhood to scout out competitors prices, and then they would raise or lower prices based on his info.
