Disintegrating?  Other than a few dented air ducts, it looked fine to me.  It's supposed to look rough and dirty.  It's a steel mill, not an Apple store.

To be fair, there were several broken windows too.
"Haunting" would be children using chain winches to move the slabs of steel around, not fully functioning automated hydraulic systems.
I suspect subby has never seen the inside of any industrial plant.
