There's some truth to that.  The TF membership holds more collective knowledge on politics, foreign affairs, science, religion, and math than the entire elected Congress.

Not really. But if your average readership is less than .03% of Fark's active user base you can definitely get a serious page view bump if you can get it linked to on Fark.
