Subby got my hopes up that this was actually some kind of sequel to ID4.  16 years later and the same president benevolent dictator runs what we've managed to put together of the post apocalyptic remains of our planet, but one man (cyborg jack bauer) continues to fight for freedom.

/ Special guest starring Will Smith as Cyborg Bauer's war hero butler/sidekick.

FTFA:  1600 Penn is a show struggling for an identity whilst being haunted by the ghosts of a long cancelled show, that outdid it every conceivable way.

Was it cancelled? I always assumed it just ran it course.
