Is that actual footage or a mock up?

cman: Is that actual footage or a mock up?

That's real but this is a repeat unfortunately. A much better demo of what the thing is capable of, but still a repeat. Lets see if the mods notice.

Including a patent with overly broad claims, soon to be followed by litigation to wipe out the competition***

You used some letters that have a curved corner.  Prepare to be sued.

Hmmm.... alright, its got my interest.
I could see people in FPS games using this to clean up VS people without it.

You could really freak out the squares with that technology. Or old people. You could make them think they're going to Hell.

Or you could just buy a bigger screen.

Segascope was cool, but the commercial did totally overhype the 3d abilities.

Ironically, the best game for the glasses was Maze Hunter 3D, which used depth pretty good.
Space Harrier 3d was really neat too.

But this new Microsoft thing doesn't make sense. I've used my projector in the past to play games, and it worked really fantastic. Why would I just not hook up a projector and make space on a wall for it, instead of using a projector AND a t.v.?

Isn't the idea that this thing will show more of the game environment than a regular screen as opposed to using a projector or larger screen tv which would just show you the same image but larger? I haven't really looked into it but if that's not the case then yes this is retarded.

yeah it looks like it's showing a larger viewing environment then would normally be shown.  A large tv wouldn't show the extra stuff that this thing does.  It's lower quality but meant for your peripheral vision apparently.
