Confabulat: FTFA: but Spielberg sparked interest at the 2011 Comic Con while tupthumping "The Adventures of Tintin"
The writers for Variety need a punch in the nuts.

They'll just get up again.

It's the only thing he'd really be qualified to talk about today.

T.rex: The Man Who Laughs: Maybe they'll explain how the T-Rex was able to eat the bridge crew of the freighter without escaping from the cargo hold first.

i don't know how i know this, but i believe it was supposedly a pack of raptors that stowed away on the ship, and then upon making it to mainland, were going to take over in the sequel.... But they never shot the sequence.

Well, I suppose if I'm going to believe anybody about this, it would be you.

Good. Those 1990's CGI effects look positively prehistoric.

Confabulat: I blame Michael Cricton for how lousy the second movie was. The first book was pretty terrific and had a great setup for a sequel, and then that idiot wrote a sequel to THE MOVIE, not his own novel. That would be like George R.R. Martin finishing up the last books of Song of Ice and Fire to fit the TV show. And not only did that suck, but it was a terrible concept as well. The theme park/dinosaur thing was cool; throwing the cast into just a standard jungle island was boring as hell.

I liked #3 ok, it didn't have any of those annoying scenes of sweeping John Williams score while we all ooo and aahh over the veggiesauruses or whatever. And it was short.

Uh, yeah. Oooo.. Aaaah. that's how it all starts. Then later there's running. And screaming.

This could work. Terrorists cleverly build a secret training camp in the middle of the dinosaurs' island. Navy SEALS are sent in. The SEALS and terrorists are forced to band together to fight the dinosaurs. In the end, the survivors realize that we're all the same and peace is made. As the leaders of the SEALS and terrorists shake hands in the foreground, in the background we see a Triceratops and T Rex(who were about to fight) suddenly stand still, look each other in the eyes in understanding, then run off together into the sunset.

Circusdog320: The "Jurassic Park" trilogy has grossed more than $1.9 dollars worldwide with "Jurassic Park 3" grossing $363 million worldwide. Universal is already planning to re-release "Jurassic Park" in 3D on April 5, 2013.

Wow....1.9 dollars...I thought it did better than that!

Talk about a gross understatement.

When no one was looking, Variety wrote of a profit of 1.9 dollars. A profit of 1.9 dollars
That is less then a tenth of the true profit. And that is just stupid.
