I guess it's hard to post when you're texting with toes?

Maybe she's not as vapid as we thought

Tried typing but she was all thumbs?

I have yet to discern it is purpose.

The only reason women like her get followed is the hope that she'll accidentally post nudes thinking she's emailing or something.

Or are there people that were really hoping to get insight in to Megan Fox's world, 140 characters at a time?

Doen in one.

I'm absolutely devestated that we will not get to read her most assuredly brilliant observations on the food she eats, the exercise she does, or the movie roles she butchers.

/I hate twitter, absolutely the worst example of what the media has become.

Hey, you never know....

There's a reasonable chance that it could happen.

Good for her, if more celeb's followed suit Twitter would go away.

I mean c'mon...it's as easy as washing a car, am I right?

This is worse than Sandy. What are we supposed to do without her twatting at us?

Tried typing but she was all toe thumbs?

/FTFY

In her defense, I didn't get it either. I joined last year, followed a handful of people but every time I logged on, I was bombarded with posts from Simon Pegg and William Shatner. No one followed me, so anything I wrote I was talking to myself.

2013-01-11 09:04:13 AM
twitter was a pointless thing once the functionality was built into facebook. most of the celebrities out there posting crap on their twitter feeds are just inane and any real NEWS that gets posted on there would spread just as quickly elsewhere. It also makes otherwise intelligent people seem like raving lunatics or burnstupid morons.

twitter is one of those things that just boggles the mind that it has lasted this long.

2013-01-11 09:06:38 AM
I somehow read that as Meghan Kelly quits Fox because..."". o.O

I quit Twitter because I didn't give a shiat about it. I'm a no-shiatter Twitter quitter.

I must have slipped into Bizarro World while I slept or something. There's actually a celebrity out there who doesn't enjoy dumping their mental diarrhea all over the popularity-worshiping shiat-eating public?

/has gained slightly more respect for Megan Fox

By the time she's done playing 140 characters she's forgotten what she wants to type.

I say good for her. Twitter is retarded. I have an account but can never get into it. I sign back in once in a while, see a bunch of stupid sh*t, and sign back out.

/not kidding

I totally agree, which is why I stepped away from all Social Networking. Of course, I am a hypocrite in the regard that I still have a social networking page, and recently unfriended anyone who attempted to politicize the Newtown massacre, and haven't logged in since. I check it about once every few months. Too many people use it as a means of communication, and I'm just old school enough to call my friends to see what's up. I'll even get all fancy and text them!

'5 days on Twitter and I have yet to discern it's purpose. #WhatIsThePoint ???'

She sounds smarter than most of the other twats on there.

2013-01-11 10:47:25 AM
Ok, I'll defend it. Twitter gets a bad name from stuff like this, but for keeping up with tech/sports news (in other words, using it as a more efficient RSS reader), it's fantastic.

2013-01-11 11:24:00 AM
If you're not a celebrity that can oddly handle the internet, or at least a comedian, your own Twitter feed is just an excuse to hear stuff from celebrities in real time. Or as a login to some commenting systems, which is all I use mine for.

2013-01-11 11:41:27 AM
Also, if you're following comic artists, you'll get first glimpses of stuff they're working on. Either actual comic panels or commission pieces which is pretty cool I think. Pre-clean up pencils and inks.

I'm right there with you. I have a facebook page and have practically everyone I've ever known on there, but I really don't get the point at all. My birthday was a few days ago and I got dozens and dozens of generic "Happy Birthday!" posts from people I haven't spoken to in 10-20 years, and a few that I don't even know who the hell they are. I already thought FB, twitter and the like were kind of stupid, but this really cemented it for me.

If she's not going to post nekkid pics, there is no point to twitter. She made the right decision. Good for her.

2013-01-11 12:27:58 PM
she doesn't 'get the point' of social networking site

She sounds pretty smart to me. Oh, silly me, I forgot that every headline now has to be a troll.

One of the nice things about Twitter, it lets me troll Donald Trump.

Twitter and facebook are for 16yr old girls, she's over the age limit.

2013-01-11 02:53:22 PM
She should do every genre flick she's offered and the occasional indie for the next ten years to keep her cleavage and ass in heavy rotation on USA, TNT and FX while working on her craft . Then when she's too old for female lead go for the Oscar-bait supporting roles.

I liked her in Jennifer's Body, a movie ruined with too much money.

2013-01-11 03:22:23 PM
Man, there are some curmudgeons in here with pristine lawns. Lighten up and learn to use Twitter as you see fit. I get notifications of art shows, pics from Chris Hadfield on the ISS, snark from my friends and news from various other feeds that I picked because I was interested in the content. Do I follow William Shatner or Kim Kardashian? Fark no. And nobody's holding a gun to my head to do so.

This.

I follow people (some celebrities - but they 1. have to post themselves, no publicists, and 2. they have to be interesting) just to read interesting things (and see the occasional accidental topless pic of Allison Pill). I don't post, I just read stuff. Some people are actually interesting, most aren't - don't follow them.

Trail of Dead: Maybe she's not as vapid as we thought

Came here to say this, leaving happy. I'm not important enough to use Twitter - I can't imagine what in the hell I'd have to say that would be so important that others would "follow" me, never mind require me to be pithy in less than 140 characters. Just not that self-absorbed, I guess.

How terrible was Jonah Hex? That scene they showed on Adult Swin when she's describing how thoroughly she was searched seemed pretty entertaining (at least before AS ran that ad into the ground like they do all their ads/bumps/etc.).

Seems like she needs to make peace with Spielberg, get a better agent, and start scoring some better parts.

Fine, I'll be a studman today. I'm not going to say that she's ugly, but there's really nothing there. Skinny biatch with no boobs, a decent face, and a good makeup artist. She's got the double ring eye thing going on (which is a plus), but there's just not much there. Give me Hendricks any day of the week.
