Damn, Meriwether Lewis looks a little OP based on the stats we can see. Nerf Lewis, buff Sacagawea!

As long as Seth Rogen's writing, I'm sure it'll be a laugh out loud hit, like Drillbit Taylor, the Watch, Undeclared and the Green Hornet

There was an actual Lewis and Clark game out around the same time. You had to make it to the Pacific Ocean and back to ... St Louis maybe. I think I usually starved to death or froze trying to cross the Rockies in the winter.

Just as long as it has Grue's that eat you in the dark.

I was freakin' AWESOME at that game. I diplomatic'd everything I could out of those indians, and just kept rolling till I hit the end.

Meh. I'll check it out when they release the Rage of the Comanche expansion pack.

How about a game based on the Donner expedition?

I hope Sierra makes it.

Looks interesting. I wish they had gone with a graphics engine that focuses on rendering vast expanses rather than up close detail. I see too much fog in most of their videos. A game like this really needs to capture the vastness of the west and the rocky mountains.

Oh you mean to say Lewis & Clark didn't go to Oregon in a covered wagon to settle down and steal land from Injuns?

That scene in the nest was kinda funny the first time. By the third time I was laughing my ass off.

Wow, That could be kickass.

/Huge Lewis & Clark fan.

Nope, even in the 1800s they knew that the best money was in consulting.

Subby's trying to say the developer looks like Seth Rogan. Which is serious stretch.

Because they're both chubby and have beards, I guess? Seth Rogan isn't even that chubby any more.

Yeah, terrible stretch.

Better would have been to say Mike Teutul from American Choppers if they were going to say anything.

At least they both wear the same glasses.

That was definitely my favorite adaptation. The scripts were good, the production values were solid, the chemistry between Hatcher and Cain was so thick you could eat it with chopsticks, and man oh man, but the portrayal of Lex was the best ever.

Oh, wait... what do you mean, Lewis and Clark?!

As long as the text is as haphazard as their original diaries...those guys spelled every word about 10 different ways.

There is a nice exhibit of their journey in st Louis.

Right. Just like this was Dan Aykroyd in a thread a few day's ago.

I could kinda see Seth Rogan. A little bit.
I'm not really one for beards, but I have to say: this guy looks cuddly. I want to hug him. Is that weird?

They need to make an Oregon Trail MMO.

The others suck, but fark you, I love Undeclared.

//Well, we awkwardly hold each other at night. That show was just too uncomfortably funny for regular TV.

We have way too many Zombies Are Trying To Eat Me games already.

They're reimagining that game, too.

"There's an Oregon Trail element to all of this. Missions are split into two groups - Waypoint Missions where we have to pick if we're going to Point A or Point B (let's say a sheriff's station or a camp) and Road Events such as clearing a congested highway or wasting the gas to go the long way around the obstruction. You need to gather supplies from these quests. You can run out of gas on the highway, and then the game ends (while giving you the chance to restart from a checkpoint). Scavenging and putting yourself at risk are keys to surviving. "

It's called "Oregon".
