Obama promised women "contraceptives and free abortions" to get their votes, but "never promised women would have seats of significance at the table of power," Huckabee said.

Mix it up a bit.  Just say Michele Bachmann would like a work with Chunk (seriously.  How much would you pay to watch Huckabee do the Truffle Shuffle?  Think about it).

Plus two female Supreme Court justices.  Hillary Clinton.  And dare I mention Susan Rice?

Stuff a sock in it, Huckabee.

"Because if you look around, all of these high-powered appointments that he is making are all white guys."

Wow, way to play the race card Huckabee.

I rather enjoy that Huckabee has just gone totally insane lately.  It was rather annoying for a while that he would sound like a good choice about 90% of the time, and then he would turn around and demand we nuke Tehran in the name of Jesus.  Now I don't have to worry when he sounds reasonable because he isn't anymore.

I didn't know Obama had announced cabinet positions to replace all those that are leaving? How does huck know there's less women in the upcoming cabinet?

(Hilda Solis is leaving but Sebelius is staying... and he wanted to appoint Susan rice but that didn't work out)

Why do the men in the Huckabee family get more food than the women? This just shows Obama's war on women is still in full effect.

I simply do not get this GOP attack on Obama's record of hiring/appointing women.  Has anyone looked at a photo of the Supreme Court recently?

"What have yo done for me lately?"

It's well-established that Republicans have dangerously short-term memory.  So much concern over the debt, for example, and no memory of where it came from or their role in creating it.

Here we have a lovely 2013 blend of Midwest Herpdeederp Chablis with a peaty, authentic mountain gibberish Pinot Grigiot. Hints of projection, flavor-injected chicken, sanctimony, lead, froth and potatoes - a bit heavy on the low end, but goes down smooth, especially on the male sommelier.

I give it 1 star.

Freight elevators, sure. And those aircraft elevators that the Navy installs on its carriers, those would probably work too.

That is totally equivalent of creating policies that shame women for sex, force rape victims to be re-raped by a doctor, oppose equal pay for women, etc......

I used to think he could moderate his crazy fundie BS with moderate conservatism. Apparently not. Go f*ck yourself, Huckabee. Take your shiatty beliefs and shove them up your ass.

well...because it's untrue.  a lie.  look - i'm ok with someone who has a legitimate disagreement with the President.  "I think he's wrong on the economy" is a valid objection and reason to oppose his plans. we would have to debate the GOP on something like that.  But making shiat up that isn't true and then blaming it on Obama is delusional and wrong.  "I hate Obama because he's a muslim atheist and wants to make gay marriage abortions legal" isn't a valid objection.  it's a sign of mental illness.

I'm specifically talking about how they decided not to renew the Violence Against Women act.

It's always vaguely amusing when Republicans try and appropriate progressive rhetoric... because they always get it so, so wrong. Like here? What he's essentially saying is "You poor foolish women, you were tricked with false promises and you poor dears didn't understand what the men folks were talking about. Now don't you feel silly for  thinking we're so sexist?"

"Now a lot of those females who supported Barack Obama are scratching their heads, and they're saying, 'Whoa! How come there is so much testosterone in the Obama Cabinet and so little estrogen?'" the Arkansas Republican said on his radio program Wednesday. "Because if you look around, all of these high-powered appointments that he is making are all white guys."

It really saddens me that there is a segment of the American public that cares enough about what Mike Huckabee thinks that they would tune in a radio program to hear it.

Not much else to do but listen to the radio in the nursing home.
