My Terps should have won that game.  When you go 7 minutes without scoring during a 40-minute college basketball against an ACC opponent, you are likely to lose that game.

Allen should have passed to Len for an easy game-tying dunk.

Two games in is a little premature. I would like to also add that Purdue (7-8) won at Clemson.

No shiat. The ACC hasn't won an NCAA title in basketball since 2010!

People who live in Pac 10 country shouldn't throw stones.

Duke is still Duke.

The rest of the league isn't what it used to be.

And yes, the Pac-12 is terrible at basketball, but it's never claimed to be an elite basketball league.

Damn, I went and looked it up. In the last 25 years, the Pac 10 has 2 national titles and 2 runners up. The ACC has 8, and 4 runners-up.

So then most conferences in basketball, including the Pac 10, also suck in your opinion. That's great.

"I think that the success of the best team in a league is indicative of the league's strength"

What a stupid way to measure things. Then again, you also blow the SEC in football, so maybe that's where you get your idiot logic from.

Maybe we should judge FSU's losing these games at the end of the season? Mercer etc might end up winning a conference title and going to the dance.

/ I'm loving the fact that Mizzou is going to walk away with the SEC title.

Right. Stanford enjoyed their trip to Raleigh, to face NC State last month, didn't they?

And besides, any league that has Herb Sendek in it cannot be taken seriously as a "powerhouse."

Unless Ryan Kelly's foot heals faster this year, I think that statement will not hold up much longer.

LOL. It's so precocious when Pac-Ten fans try to be relevant.

of course, Mercerbeats FSU, then goes to lose to Denver, who were 1-6 our something like that. thin air sucks.
now, when they lost to
Kennesaw last weekend, I was calling BS. A team on a 12 game losing streak gets double the free throws. I hate Asun refs...

BTW, the Pac-10 hasn't existed for a couple of years. I know you live in Florida so you're roughly 10 years behind the times with most things, but do try to keep up. You are, after all, apparently connected to the internet.

Joey Bracket's current projected NCAA teams, by conference

Big Ten 7
Big East 7
Mountain West 6
ACC 6
Big 12 5
SEC 4
Pac-12 4
Atlantic 10 4
Ohio Valley 2
Missouri Valley 2

(One of the Big East teams in the bracket will be a member of the ACC next year.)

No matter the measuring stick one uses to gauge the Pac-12 against the other power conferences, they come up short.

Pe'Shon and Seth Allen killed them down the stretch last night, everything after Len's dunk to make it 43-35 was a nightmare offensively.

Thus is life with a young team, though. Scoring droughts are going to happen, you just have to hope they keep improving as the year goes on.

Provided that we're solely talking about men's college basketball. Also, provided that we're assuming that anyone's saying that the Pac-12 is a great men's basketball conference.

But hey, that's what all internet arguments are made of, idiots taking one comment, adding layers upon layers of their own subtext, then attacking all of that subtext that they made up because the actual comment is unassailable.

ACC play has begun and suddenly, Florida State looks like a quality basketball program.

They must have been watching a different game.

Yeah, imagine talking about basketball in a thread about ... basketball.
