Lucky LaRue: That article makes A.J. McCarron sound like a jealous attention whore.Lulz.
karmaceutical: This is a lot of talk for the next Jay Cutler, only not as tough and with a weaker arm.
MattyFridays: Any story you read on TMZ you have to read with a gigantic grain of salt. They are still trying, somehow, to pin the fact that a papparazzi died on Justin Bieber. Because he - OH MY GOD - smokes weed.
varmitydog: It shows that she has a bit of class
Killer Cars: Saban can't possibly be thrilled with this "distraction". Time to sit McCarron down, coach, and tell him he either dumps Katherine and recommits himself 110% to Bama football, or he might as well just enter the NFL draft today./only sort of kidding
DoBeDoBeDo: "I want it to be about me and him," Webb says ... adding, "He's a guy I can see myself having a real future with living off of once he scores a high NFL draft position."FTFHDoing it on your own is hard, riding the coattails until he gets a fatty pay day THEN becoming an actress is much easier. You don't have to be desperate for a gig that way.
erupt2001: Is this seriously still being discussed?
Speaker2Animals: Lucky LaRue: That article makes A.J. McCarron sound like a jealous attention whore.Lulz.The article makes it sound like the two of them don't give a f*ck about the celebrity culture. Good for them.
varmitydog: IAmRight: Indeed, accepting a dozen interview requests and then reneging on them is super classy.Yeah, I reckon finding out that all the interviews were going to be about how some lecherous geriatric and some mouthy lowlife black want to get in her pants didn't really thrill her.
jayhawk88: erupt2001: Is this seriously still being discussed?Gotta fill the time between now and March Madness somehow.
Mateorocks: jayhawk88: erupt2001: Is this seriously still being discussed?Gotta fill the time between now and March Madness somehow. The KU game last night was awesome. I can't believe it, but this team might be better than last year.
Marisyana: Anyone else wonder ... what was up ... with all the ellipses in ... that article?
Swoop1809: Is AJ McCarron any better than Greg McIllroy when it comes to being an NFL prospect? I guess if you win national championships Alabama will always find a job for him. Hell, Craig Krenzel has a radio show in Columbus.
WTF Indeed: I was going to say that I was surprised that a guy in college can't see he was being used by his model girlfriend as a fame stepping stone, but then I remember we are taking about Alabama.
jayhawk88: Mateorocks: jayhawk88: erupt2001: Is this seriously still being discussed?Gotta fill the time between now and March Madness somehow. The KU game last night was awesome. I can't believe it, but this team might be better than last year. They have a couple fatal flaws though:1. It's going to be tough for them to score against better teams in the tournament. They've been filling it up more recently, but better defensive teams (i.e. teams that tend to make the tournament) are going to give them problems at some point. McLemore has been great but he's also shooting 48% from the field. Withey doesn't have enough of an offensive game to be a consistent threat. Young doesn't shoot as much as he should, and Releford shoots for a high percentage, but has trouble creating his own shot off the dribble. EJ can get to the rim, but he's also shooting 43%. Every major offensive threat KU has, has a glaring weakness to his game, and McLemore and EJ are the only ones that look like they can overcome that weakness for significant stretches, unless Withey all of the sudden finds a post game in the next two months.2. If they lose Releford on the defensive end, they're in trouble. Everyone talks about Withey, but Releford is the real anchor of that defense. His effort is what sets the tone and helps disrupt the opponents offensive game. Withey isn't good enough at keeping his man out of the lane, and is guilty of putting himself out of rebounding position going for the block. Way too many of his blocks/block attempts are coming from behind the ball, rather than face guarding his man.Self is a great coach and he's got this team playing good defense and solid offense, and they have enough talent to beat, say, 95% of the D1 teams out there on any given night. But I think that elite/well coached teams like Duke, Indiana, Michigan, Louisville, and maybe like Arizona and Syracuse will be able to exploit KU's weaknesses and have a decided advantage over them. Or if they were to happen ...
S.A.S.Q.U.A.T.C.H.: He should be happy the pressure and focus is off him for the moment.I loved the interview post-game of him finding out about her twitter following. You can literally see the panic rushing over his face."Oh no. All those people checking out my girl."then"Oh no. LeBron James if going to fark my girlfriend."
born_yesterday: karmaceutical: This is a lot of talk for the next Jay Cutler, only not as tough and with a weaker arm.Yeah, but how good is his "totally disinterested" face?
Speaker2Animals: How many posters piss all over anything from Fox News or WND but have no trouble believing something puked up by TMZ?Amazing.
abhorrent1: Speaker2Animals: How many posters piss all over anything from Fox News or WND but have no trouble believing something puked up by TMZ?Amazing. To be fair. TMZ usually has video of people saying the things they report. Also, "Katherine has released a statement to TMZ" would suggest it probably came from her publicist and is likely legit. Fox News and WND on the other hand, make shiat up and cite "Un-named sources" or provide no citation at all
