Badly is an adverb. So to say you feel badly would be saying that the mechanism which allows you to feel is broken.

Should have had an OSHA approved safety harness.

You know, if they could sell sex in the back room, they wouldn't have to go to these extremes for tips in the first place. Just sayin...

Or maybe badly is a pronoun, being the name of the stripper's friend and subby forgot to capitalize it. Subby wants us to feel up Badly since touching Lauren would be a little weird now.

What could she have been doing that caused her to fall over the rail? I figure the strippers usually keep their center of gravity, as it were, right on or close to the customer's center of gravity. Was there a Mafia! stripper act going on? Only time they don't have their center of gravity on mine during a lapdance is when they're simulating a BJ, or rubbing their tits in my face.

propasaurus: Why was she doing a lap dance on a balcony?

Having been to this club before Mrs. 6502 entered the environment, I can speak to this. There's the main floor downstairs, and upstairs, there's a balcony area where one can chill, watch the main stage, or get a more private dance. I would presume that she was performing a private dance upstairs and launched herself over the railing.

Just doesn't seem like it would be more 'private' if it's a balcony overlooking the main floor. I would prefer-- I mean, I would guess someone would prefer-- to get a lap dance in a dark private room.
And anyway, the picture in TFA made it seem like it was an outdoor balcony, which really doesn't make sense.

In ten years they will make a biopic about her.  The premise will be the forbidden strip move that only so and so played by Demi Moore, completed in competition back in 1982.  Demi will come out of retirement to train the new talent and then...like a bullrider who got the wrong bull at the wrong time, the new perky talent will try to prove herself too early...and get bucked right over the edge.  But in the end, all the kind hearted strippers hold a fundraiser to save the bar from being closed.

I think Lindsay Lohan might play the chalk outline.

theesir: NightOwl2255: MythDragon: A parachute not opening... that's a way to die. Getting caught in the gears of a combine... having your nuts bit off by a Laplander, that's the way I wanna go!

A friend of mine's old man was a truck driver back in the good ol days when speed a necessity for truck drivers, and I'm not talking about going fast. He was your typical hard living, hard drinking good old boy. We were playing poker one night and question of how the best way to go would be. He said he wanted to be drunk, high and farking a hooker doggy style and have his heart explode out of his chest when he nuts and cover the hookers back in blood.

That's how MY DAD died!!!

He was getting farked doggy style by a high truck driver?

Teacher says, every time a pole dings, a stripper gets her wings.

kronicfeld: Badly is an adverb. So to say you feel badly would be saying that the mechanism which allows you to feel is broken.

Wrong.  The adverb "badly" modifies the verb "feel," suggesting how readers who made fun of this girl may feel.

MycroftHolmes: kronicfeld: Badly is an adverb. So to say you feel badly would be saying that the mechanism which allows you to feel is broken.

It is correct. Anyone trying to feel a dead stripper will most definitely feel badly.

Only a blind man could feel a dead stripper badly; she's not moving.

2013-01-09 06:21:54 PM

Whatthefark: So a stripper died. Most of them are already dead inside.

Like you've ever been inside a stripper.

Debeo Summa Credo: kronicfeld: Badly is an adverb. So to say you feel badly would be saying that the mechanism which allows you to feel is broken.

Hmmm. I guess you are right. Most people underuse adverbs. I wonder how the phrase "feel badly" became an instance where an adverb is frequently used incorrectly.

I see what you did there. :-)

You're assuming she had parents that actually farking cared, let alone grew her up properly to avoid working this kinda job.

It might be time for all you good Farkers to sit down with your daughters and explain the dangers of Stripping.

Much safer to have them just give Lap Dances.

CSB (not sad) time: There was this stripper at the local Gentleman's Club. Fake chest, but still looked good. She was a nimble thing, amazing body, long blonde hair halfway down her back. She would scale the pole like it was a ladder, grab it with her thighs and then twirl upside down with her head 10 feet above the stage. She would then remove her hands from the pole, undo her bra and toss it to the back of the stage while still hanging up there, twirling.

I gave her the clap.

/I mean, I gave her a round of applause.
//And threw some money on stage

Dejah: All the dancers will only go halfway up the pole today out of respect.

My gawd, over 50 votes for your post.

That's got to be a record.

Well done Mate.

So it's probably safe to say you paid eight bits for a dance?

theesir Should have stuck to her day job... being ogled by middle aged guys in the restaurant pretending to like the chicken wings.

That was actually just her Halloween costume @ the strip club...

A bit of a generalization, don't you think?  Granted, many people who get into stripping probably came from less than ideal homes, but I'm sure there's plenty of girls who were "raised properly" who found that they rather like taking off their clothes for money.

So does this mean that we have to respect the "toughness" of band members who fall off stages and survive?

\cuz it still isn't going to happen for Tyler...!
