My plan for the inauguration: take the bus or metro down to the mall around 9 or so. Find the best patch of grass I can get on the mall. Read a book until it starts. Go back home when it ends.

It'll probably cost me all of $3.20 in bus fare.

Will be at  the D.C. Chamber of Commerce (across the street from the White House) for a Presidential Inaugural Ball on the 17th, so I'm getting a kick.  Not invited personally, but will be playing in the band.
