You know what, here's my theory on Honey Boo Boo: it's satire. The whole show was conceived as a parody of reality shows and now TLC is trying to troll America for as long as possible. I can see it being thought of; some TLC guy says " Man, we're putting on some stupid crap now". Then some other guy says "Yah, you could probably put on a buch of rednecks and people would watch". And a maverick gleam comes across their eyes. "Dude, what if we, like, made the dumbest reality show ever. Like, one that parodys all the other dumb crap. Would people watch it?" And thus Honey Boo Boo was born. It's either that or people are shameless and depraved enought to produce, star in, and watch this crap.

I love the idea of my country, but seriously- this shiat is making me re-think my citizenship.

If only. I want to believe, like I believe Ke$ha is making fun of all the homogeneous pop stars, but TLC is so horrible, I can't. It's the latter. TLC is run by a secret of order of chicken heads, who cackle and crow about the dumbing down of America, so their kind can rise again.
