That's reasonable to hate everyone who watches a tv show.

I hope you also hate everyone who watches sports, since the average NBA salary is $5.15 million, the average MLB salary is $3.31 million, and the average NFL salary is $1.9 million, all of which far exceed what the Boo Boo clan will make from the show.

Hopefully you hate everyone who goes to or watches movies, since A-list actors can make tens of millions per movie.

Of course, Paul McCartney's net worth was estimated at $800 million last year, so fark anyone who listens to The Beatles or music in general. Right?

Yeah, Honey Boo Boo's family makes a lot of money. They make more this year than most people will make in several years. But what they make is a drop in the bucket compared to the outrageous money other people in entertainment earn. They will go away in a year or two, while the salaries of professional athletes, already astronomically higher than anything Boo Boo will earn, will continue to rise.

So something like 1% of America watches a show, and it's some sort of epidemic?
