... AND Beck?

Good lord.

2013-01-09 11:46:06 AM
I could see him wanting to launch a full-scale Libertarian answer to Fox News media. The problem is that he's serving up bowlful after bowlful of warm sh*t soup with crazy crackers, as opposed to anything remotely resembling honest Libertarianism.

Good luck Beck, and bon appetit.

FTA: "We're not going to play in that crazy space as a network," he said, standing between a split screen playing clips of MSNBC's Chris Matthews and Fox News's Sean Hannity.

"Instead, we're going to go play in an undermarketed niche of crazy."

He realized that there are stupid people everywhere that need help studying things out.

I just don't get it....all that money and he just can't go off and retire on some island (that he could buy) somewhere. He must really think he's saving the world and/or genuinely farking crazy.

Honest libertarianism? Is there even such a thing?

Over the next two months, TheBlaze will open bureaus in three foreign cities that are "important to America," though Beck did not identify their locations.

I'm guessing those three places will be Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and the Cayman Islands.

Contradiction in terms. The very term "libertarian" (an old-ish term that originally meant, and outside the US still means, left-wing anarchists) is an incredibly dishonest way to refer to authoritarian ultra-capitalists. How could they possibly be honest when they start from a basically dishonest premise?

I think there is. At least aspects of it. I think Jon Stewart considers himself a Libertarian... he knows what works, what doesn't, and seems to be more open and honest about it than anyone else out there. Honestly it's not my area of expertise, though...

That's the thing about a good scam like that.

If he drops off the map the people that are devout to him will track him down like he's some lost messiah.

His only real course of action is to keep going and let it run its course until he's irrelevant and it comes to an end.

You don't just jump off the gravy train when you scammed your way to get onto it. You have to have an exit strategy.

Glenn Beck Relaunching TheBlaze as a Global Libertarian News Network

After Bush, a lot of Republicans started calling themselves 'Libertarians" because he was such an embarrassment. Beck and the Crazytrain follows them and starts calling themselves 'Libertarian" as well which will shirley bring more humiliation to these people.

If Beck truly wanted to further conservative goals and convert people to conservatism, what he'd do is start broadcasting his brand of crazy with a liberal spin.

Beck just saw how much attention Alex Jones got from his appearance on Peers Morgan show....now Beck has to follow.

Beck just copies and plagiarizes everything Alex Jones does.

I can't help but wonder how much additional $$$ he has tucked away in secret, offshore accounts. Him and Hannity and Limbaugh and the rest. That would so fit their collective psychological and ethical profile. And you know it has to be a major temptation to Obama to drop a quiet word in the ear of the Director of the IRS that maybe those loons ought to be looked into.

I am a conservative who doesn't happen to be a Republican... no wait, ... i'm an Independent! shucks...no..who am I? Oh yes! I am a Libertarian! yeah, that's it.

Fark off and die you human piece of trash or at least have the integrity to admit what/who you are. Oh that's right, integrity is something your ilk gives no allegiance to.

He put out a book about George Washington...but Glenny Hinn is the one in the foreground while the bust of Washington is an out-of-focus afterthought.

Just as a random bit of trivia, Karl Rove's real father was actually gay. Which may or may not have been something that Karl Rove was thinking about while Jeff Gannon was putting his pee pee into Karl's poo poo.

I also think there's a large group of conservatives who hesitate to associate with the three-ring circus that is the modern-day Republican party. It's why Teabaggers always insist that the Tea Party includes people from all political parties that are "fed up" with the system, when the reality is that 100% of their candidates have an R next to their name.

You're almost right - when the shiat really hit's the fan, even gold will be worthless - afterall, you can't eat it. That's why I'm encouraging my readers to beat the rush and trade their soon to be worthless paper dollars for soon to be priceless canned goods and bullets. Hurry now! An interesting and possibly related side note on Mr. Beck..

"At least one person agreed that Jones was a terrible spokesman for gun rights: Glenn Beck. Speaking on his radio show Tuesday, he said that Morgan had chosen well if his intention was to discredit the pro-gun movement.

"Piers Morgan is trying to have gun control," Beck said. "He is trying to make everybody who has guns and who believes the Second Amendment to be a deterrent to an out of control government look like a madman. So now he immediately books the madman and makes him look like a conservative."

He said he will also debut a 30-minute nightly newsmagazine show called "For the Record," which he said would be his own version of ABC's "Nightline."

Thing is, Nightline actually gets its sh*t straight 95% of the time, and apologizes when it does not. WTF are you bringing to the table, Glenn, except for more paranoia and stoking of the fire of every rube you can?

No, he's a moron.  I grant that he has a certain amount of media/camera savvy, but only a moron, a psychologically-damaged attention-seeking moron, would steer a career in the direction he's gone.  If you weren't a moron, you would vomit the second you saw yourself in the mirror, and that would drive you to get out of the awful game.  But he seems to actually enjoy it.  I don't care whether he does or doesn't believe the crap he's pedalling; his motivation is attention, feeling like he's a bigshot.  Pushing away the ever-present haunting fear that he's a moron.

He's also surrounded by a lot of *very* savvy people, the ones you never see, the ones who aren't desperately seeking attention and affirmation, only the most money in the shortest time possible.  He's like a weeping Madonna to them...fill him up with saline, pump that bulb, cash in on the suckers, and when they finally wise up to it, move on to the next con.

But Beck is a moron.

Maybe if they got together and started a political party, they could siphon all the derp out of mainstream US politics. Then you could marginalize them in a nice padded room somewhere and become a real country again.
