Wait, she's a model and an actress? By the end of the week, she'll be a Fox News anchor.

Every day I come to the Entertainment tab, I understand less and less. What? Who? Did what? On MY lawn?

I thought she had jaundice from the filter on that picture.

Headline is inaccurate. She's actually smoking hot.

All she needs is to take modern dance and she will be a triple threat!

No, what she needs next is a charity to be a spokesdroid for. If she's been on the pageant circuit, she's already had the dance lessons.

What's the over/under on the timeframe for nude photos to show up from some ex-lover?

I watched a linked clip. Pardon my insensitivity, but for what, exactly, did ESPN apologize? Now it's offensive to acknowledge the beauty of a beauty pageant winner?

Has she sent a thank-you note to Brent Musburger and ESPN, yet? On Monday night, I was creeped out and felt bad for her, but goddamn did her fame escalate quickly.

It was for the comment that quarterbacks always get all the good-looking women. The punters and kickers were inconsolable.

Yes, it is sexism. You should admire her for her GPA or commitment to marriage equality or being semi-psychic re: this thread Link

"Sarah Pierson Beaulieu is the founder of The Enliven Project. She has had nearly 35 years of experience as a human and over 15 years experience in managing complex relationships and partnerships, fundraising, and systematic approaches to change. She is a survivor and a truth teller, a poet, a semi-psychic, wife, mom, and a loyal friend."

My wife an I saw that this morning, when they made a big deal of the "scandal and apology" my wife growled something about puritanical bullshiat country more scared of boobs than violence. Indeed, fark the media.

Mainly because the comments were made by a old, unattractive, creepy Jim Musburger who came off as a lech. If it were made Jesse Palmer or Kirk Herbstreet, I don't think anyone would have cared.

How is a QB who just won two back to back national championships for a total of three and will most likely go on to a solid NFL career not a celebrity?

How is it you haven't noticed success as a college QB doesn't mean jack shiat in the NFL, and more often than not the successful college QBs crash and burn in the pros?

Being a clipboard holder for 2-3 years counts as a "solid NFL career" nowadays?

You can bet the Dancing with the Stars people have already contacted her. New season starts March 18, she has impeccable timing.

They might've changed this in the latest CBA, but IIRC, Sam Bradford got way too much money from the Rams, like $85M or something guaranteed over 5 years in the contract he signed after being drafted #1. That was after having shoulder surgery his senior year and before he'd played a down in the pros. This kid might get pounded into meat paste in six weeks, but he'll still be decently compensated for his short and painful existence - although the girl still might ditch him if he's a vegetable at the age of 25.

I am aware of that, which is why I said 'most likely' and 'solid', not 'definitely' and 'outstanding'. From what I've seen, McCarron has good leadership skills, the ability to focus under pressure and do what needs to be done. Not to mention some good passing ability. I would be surprised if he doesn't at least have a moderately successful career in the NFL.

Bradford is extremely lucky his parents farked when they did. He's the last class of the stupid signing contracts for rookies.

The way I see it, all this attention on his gf might start to annoy him. Look at his response to the tweet that she got from Darnell Dockett. If she gets more attention like that, he might respond the same way instead of shaking it off and letting her brush them off. I've seen relationships implode because the guy gets all overly protective of their SO, and the SO gets fed up with the insecure BS.

In the interest of fairness, they aren't going to deduct points if the country you're representing only makes come-fark-me-pumps in one size.

It's that he treated her as a trophy for which the QB should be congratulated.

If instead he said "Wow, she's gorgeous. She's dating [guy name], the QB for [team]. She's also the [pageant history] blah blah", that would admire her beauty and treat her like an individual and do so in a way that doesn't reduce her to a sex object to be possessed.

""It was kind of nice," Webb said of Musburger's comments. "I didn't look at it as creepy at all. For a woman to be called beautiful, I don't see how that's an issue.""

Hey now, my Vikes drafted Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Gino Torretta, and, well, I'll let his resume speak for itself:

The Heisman Trophy winning QB never attempted a pass for the Vikings and was 5 of 16 for 41 yards, one TD and an INT in Seattle three years later.
Actually suited up for a total of five teams in his 4 years but didn't play at all. That is the entire career for you.

I wonder if they flip the script at runway shows and pageants. "Oh, she's married to Tom Brady. He's so gorgeous"

Probably not.
