(Huffington Post)   Dog that went missing after Hurricane Sandy found by his owner, just hours before he was scheduled to be put down. All that pet dander in here, acts just like dust   ( divider line

AdmirableSnackbar: Pray 4 Mojo: AdmirableSnackbar: First off, Buster? Really? Might be better for him to be put down than live with a family that would name their dog Buster.

Second, that was a great story.

Third, FTFA: In November, a plane transporting 60 dogs and cats displaced by Sandy arrived in San Diego, the Associated Press reported. The animals, which might have been put down, were taken to a local shelter, where they were scheduled to be prepped for adoption.

WTF? These animals are parts of people's farking families and instead of keeping them in the area where they might be reunited you farking fly them all the way across the farking country? What kind of organization does that? Totally ruins the happiness from a story of one dog being reunited with his pack.

Prolly didn't have the room... so it was kill them or ship them out. At least they're still alive, so if the dip-shiat, non licensing, non micro chipping Guidos find them on the interwebs they can have them shipped back.

I understand that local shelters might not have the room, but it's a total of 60 animals. There are shelters in Connecticut, PA, MD, etc. - not to mention foster families - that aren't thousands of miles away that could support an extra pup or two for a few weeks while their people get their shiat together. To fly them to San Diego instead seems completely arbitrary and cruel.

yo would say "holy fark" right out loud if you knew how many shelters exist in each state you mentioned. it's ridiculous how many irresponsible shiat for brains don't spay or neuter pets. then there is puppy mills and untold amounts of a-holes who think dog breeding is easy-peasy. it's sad how packed the shelters usually are. no-kill shelters and out of state is often the final chance. worse is retard states like Mississippi where animals don't stand a damn chance because of poverty and how piss-poor folks treat each other, much less animals. not picking on MS it's just the truth.
