I visited the York Minster years ago while stationed in Bedfordshire. Beautiful cathedral. The rest of Old York is pretty cool as well.

/Hope this helps preserve it.

So cathedrals is British slang for teeth?

/Now that's out of the way.  You're welcome.

For those of you with stainless fridges or other appliances, a touch of olive oil on a rag is great for cleaning them up. I also thought it was crazy when I first heard it, but it works great. They shine, but there's no residue assuming you don't overdo it.

This one. Watch the classic Fleischer Popeyes, and he alternates between "Arf, arf, arf" and "Ug, gug, gug, gug" all the time...

The MIL lives very close to York Minster, in fact we can see it from the spare bedroom. A stunning catherdral. And as AirForceVet says, York itself (at least the olde worlde city centre part) is also very nice.

My family and I visited York when we were in England. We enjoyed it. Also enjoyed the Yorkshire pudding.
