Well, damn, I never thought CNN would find a way to get rid of Peter King and still make it seem awful, but here we are.

Does deslide.clusterfake.net not work on CNN? It's the only thing that lets me tolerate a BR link.

It's been said that Ted Turner is appalled at what has become of TBS in general since he left (the quality of CNN, HLN becoming not at all what he intended when he started it, reality shows on Cartoon Network).

He has to be. Please, Ted, take what's left of your money and buy it back. I'll chip in.

Wow, CNN's featured headline wasn't "Alabama beats Notre Dame" but "Look what happened on Twitter because Alabama beat Notre Dame"

This fits perfectly with where CNN has been going. What a farking joke. I can't wait for joint features like Soledad O'Brien presents "The Blackest Player in the History of Every NFL Franchise"

CNN is just awful, I probably respect them less than even Fox News. You're last place now CNN, maybe dumbing down your content is hurting your brand.

/still not sure why none of the cable news channels do something like BBC News, that's exactly what I want to see when I watch the news. You know facts, information, and actual news.

Al Jazeera bought Current and is turning it into Al Jazeera America, so you'll likely get your chance at just that.. assuming whatever provider you have hasn't dropped it for xenophobic reasons by then.

Considering how much I dislike Ted Turner, I second this.

That's pretty farked. Then again, every time I've seen Al Jazeera English, it's been pretty legit. Never seen the Arabic version and I guess I'm not surprised it happened.

OK, guess I WILL have to explain then.

The guy in question, Samir Kuntar, is considered by many in Lebanon to be a national hero, and the video linked took place in Al Jazeera's Lebanese bureau. Afterwards, Al Jazeera's head office (in Qatar) apologized and said the show violated its Code of Ethics.

So, setting that aside, Al Jazeera America will retain much of Current's staff and 60% of its content will come from Current's studios in NYC, with the remainder produced by Al Jazeera English (London).
