(That being said, it's probably his most scientifically inaccurate book. The man is a freaking genius, however, so even his most inaccurate book is still pretty good. Permutation City is awesome too. And the short story The Planck Dive, which is available free online.)

A colleague used to favour the Second Book of Kings - I preferred Lucky's speech.
