He's being given the roles that would have otherwise gone to Shia LaBeouf. For that alone, he gets a lifetime free pass from me.

All I want to know is- WTF did they do to his face in Looper? It was so goddammed distracting.

Truth. Came here to say something to that effect, Star Lord is tough to cast but as long as it isn't TheBeef everything should work out. He'll be in a mask for most of the movie anyway.

I would rather he star in Sim City 2, which would be a much better movie.

Don't know what it is about him, in most of his work you can't help but root for his character.

How are Micky Rourke and Bruce Willis going to reprise their roles when their characters died in the first one?

The Sin City comic doesn't have a serial progression, it jumps backwards and forwards as the narrative requires and the graphic novels are all stand-alones, but with recurring characters and cameos from a different character's POV. I imagine we'll see a reprise of the dance scene or a bar scene in which all the previous characters are present, but then follow the POV of a new character onwards, just like in the comics.

Ugh Sin City 2? Sin City 1 was pretty terrible. Plus if one of your main characters is going to be a stripper, she shouldn't be wearing more clothes than any other character in the movie.

Sin City was a series of intertwined vignettes. There's no reason to think that the action has to take place in any kind of chronological order.

A nose appliance and other makeup to make him more closely resemble Bruce Willis. But I agree, it was distracting.

I read it as Sim City first.  I was wondering how that would work as a movie plot.  But knowing Hollywood, they would find a way to ruin Sim City.

Make of a combination of Dark City and The Matrix/Tron: every time a guy wakes up the city he's living in has completely changed overnight, but he's the only one that realizes it. He eventually discovers that he's living in a computer game.

I know why they did it, but they didn't succeed. If they were that interested in two people that looked a lot alike, why didn't they get a father and son team to play the roles? Like the Sheens, the Reiners, or Gary and Jake Busey.

That was all Jessica Alba, who refuses to do nude scenes. That said, the character is a stripper. Don't like the role? Don't take the role.

Sin City was very disappointing, I've never seen so many strippers, whores, and sluts wear so many clothes in all my life. If you are going to have that many women employed in sex trades in your movie then by God I want to see some tits, coont, and ass.

Actually, that plot would work and is a lot more inventive than Die Hard 6: Die Harderer

Better than The Sims where the whole movie would be some guy trapped in a room with no doors sobbing in his own feces then miraculously dies when his 15 fire places set all his wooden chairs on fire.

I LOVE that film when it was first released, but then by the time it hit video, the mere fact of its existence, it seemed to have a much lessened impact to my care-o-meter.

I think Frank Miller's books are really great, and i'll be excited to see the sequel, but they'll have to up the ante somehow for the sequel.  Filming a whole movie in front of a green screen is less impressive today than it was in 2005.

Unless they cast Hugo Weaving, actors arent usually willing to put up with that.

When did the law change? Around 15 years ago they used to go topless, but that was then. I know South Bend has been trying to get rid of the strip clubs for years so maybe it depends on the county. Michigan still goes completely nude but only if the club doesn't sell alcohol.

Where I live, everybody has to wear a T-bar, which is a thong that has extra crotch coverage or something, whether or not they working in a nude club or one with a bar. If there's a bar, nipples have to be covered as well. As I understand it those are the rules for Fort Wayne and Indy as well.

Smoking in clubs is still legal in Indiana though.

Did even Hollywood get sick of his douchebaggery? I mean the guy couldn't even BS about hooking up with Megan Fox without sounding like a Farker obviously lying about it.

JGL's performance in Dark Knight Rises is enough for me to forgive Rise of Cobra (I'm not sure that the producers didn't override everyone on that making the end result watchable maybe once, while uttery smashed); don't mind him benefiting from the Beef's narcissistic episodes.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt will get his dark and mysterious on for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, playing the new character of Johnny, who will figure prominently in the intersecting stories in the hard-boiled sequel

Josh Hartnett is no longer relevant.
