AverageAmericanGuy: Language is useful as it translates experiential phenomena into a conveyable form that can be easily understood by the listener. How can a computer truly understand language if it has no way of experiencing and appreciating the phenomena described by the communication? It can't, and that's why it will turn against us and destroy our species.
Fizpez: If switching from polite conversation abruptly to curse filled slang will suddenly cause the computer not to understand you or (more likely) utterly refrain from using curse words it will never pass the Turing test.
Feral_and_Preposterous: I posit that using terms like bullshiat IS natural speech. Why should a computer be bound by bullshiat human standards? We gonna make it learn religion, too?
LittleSmitty: Dicknipple... Now I HAVE to work that into a conversation today. Challenge: Not calling someone a fooking dicknipple
DjangoStonereaver: OMG, BRB. WFT my BFF Jill?
moothemagiccow: what happens when the computer googles itself
Nurglitch: I love it, the computer calls BS on its creators and what do they do? Lobotomize it. Go humanity!
dickfreckle: You'd think a guy with my immature login would have heard "dicknipple" before. But honestly, it's a first.
wademh: I'll be more interested when a computer learns to use a computer animation program and starts doing self-portraits.and I'm not sure I want to know what happens when it combines that with rule 34
sxacho: A lot of farkers got introduced to a lot of things with which they otherwise wouldn't be familiar, including shiatting dicknipples, from a frequent poster who shall not be named who used to be around here pretty often.
