I don't have a TotalFark account so that can't be true.

I'm no expert but...: I don't have a TotalFark account so that can't be true.

This.

The lotto winner is giving people a hobby and positive activity to focus on. Admittedly, I would spend that money on food or clothes for the needy, but she is making an effort to improve the lives of others. Total Farkers would spend the money on beer and a taste of women. And Bronie outfits.

I can see by the grey star you did recently.

Pottery is a booming business in England. You wouldn't think it, but everyone these days wants pottery. Whether it's wheel-spun cups or pinch-molded ashtrays, the English just can't get enough of this handicraft product. They use it everywhere, from drinking vessels to planters to decorative knick knacks, pottery is definitely the wave of the future.

It's a great thing the lottery people are doing. Spending the income from lottery sales on educating the poor and homeless in the fine craft of pottery, these people will be back on their feet in no time flat. Pottery is such an important life skill, I'm surprised it's not part of the standard educational curriculum. Well, it should be! At the very least, these unfortunate people get a chance at a true hand up and not just another hand out.

I just noticed that pottery rhymes with lottery. What are the odds? Truly this was a program conceived of by the Lord God Himself. How else could someone have come up with such a breathtakingly perfect educational program based on people's greed. This must be what Jesus meant by turning swords into ploughshares.

How many major, egotistical British cities are built in earthquake/ hurricane zones?

Hmm, strange that. I've never had a TotalFark account but this account is quite old and was, well, dormant for quite a while. Maybe something to do with that?

AHHH, I see now. It used to show grey if TF recently ran out. Now it's to add as a favorite. I think.

Just because the intention is good does not make it a good idea. How about instead of pottery classes maybe teach some marketable job skills?

Pottery class or twenty thousand an hour to run a fighter jet? I will have to think on that.

Call it Harry Wizard's School of Pottery.

Ceramics class teaches you that things will not turn out the way you think they will, not matter how well you've planned them out. Don't the homeless already know this?

Wh? . Lots of government spending is supposed to be our way to economic salvation
How many people does the manufacutre and operation of that Jet Fighter keep employed? Plus jet fighters are way cooler than pottery.

Based on this picture I'd say the UK has some pretty good looking homeless.

Like patience, concentration, resilience, attention to detail and a sense of pride in working, you mean?
