LindenFark: There are plenty of well-adjusted overweight people that just love good food, to the point that the stereotype is the jolly fat man or mother hen.

However, a significant number of men and women are not rejected because they are fat, they are fat because they aren't likable. They have poor socialization skills which leads to bitterness, depression, and self loathing. This leads to anger, poor eating habits and saps the will to improve oneself. These are the last people you want seeking revenge. In fact, Justice is a delicate thing to be sought and nurtured, but revenge for its own sake is never a good thing.

I see what you're saying, but in the United States the majority simply over eat and eat poorly.

Having poor social skills, bitterness, depression, self-loathing, anger etc. are also the same traits of a sociopathic person. This show is the same as having a camera crew follow around some homeless bum who became rich and now goes out of his way to treat badly those who used to treat him badly. Weight doesn't need to be a factor in the show at all, they could simply call the show, "I'm going to treat others poorly because I used to be treated poorly!"

Why do I have a feeling that each one of these shows would make Bridezilla look like The West Wing?

Braggi: They should start some other shows.
"forgiveness". People don't hold grudges and offer forgiveness to people who hurt them.
"being nice to everyone". This show focuses on people going about thier daily business and are nice to everyone they meet.

That is so old and busted.

But that defeats the purpose. The whole point of reality TV is to make people feel better because, hey, at least they're not on reality TV. If you showed things people could aspire to, it would only remind them that they're not there yet, and that would just make them feel bad.
