I know I much prefer texting pictures of my penis when it has been freshly cleaned.

"Damn, I can't get a signal here."
"Want to borrow my phone?"
"Sure."
"It's the new Xperia Z."
"Oh, is that the one that will work even after it's been dropped into a toilet?"
"Yes."
"F*ck you."

On the plus side, music in the shower.  On the negative side (or at least unintentional hilarity) I predict a wave of accidental shower shots from apps that auto update social media.

It took me five years to get over saying "you'll never guess where I'm calling you from" everytime I made a call from a cellphone outside my house because I was overjoyed with life's technological magic.  Oh well here we go again...

"You'll never guess where I'm calling you from...I'M INSIDE A WONDERTWIN!"

*rabble rabble rabble*

"No the WATER one you sicko!"

But there are limits to its uses. A Sony insider said: "While technically you can use it to make calls underwater I'm not sure how much you'd be able to say or hear. It's really to let users keep the phone safe around water. watch porn in the shower"

Can it survive in 40d soapy water?

Water resistant is all well and good but will it survive a washing machine, that's a far more important question.

The Xperia Z "superphone" is leak-proof in up to a metre of water for half an hour.
It means it can take pictures underwater or even be used in the shower - making it perfect for sexy shower pictures for Twitter.

I just have a dedicated bathroom tablet. If it gets wet, I'll go get a different spare tablet.
I've been reading in the bathtub with a tablet for a couple years now and it hasn't gotten wet yet.

The first person to invent a case with suction cups on the back for this phone will be a multibillionaire.

So, anyway, Sony also released the Xperia Tablet in 2012 which was marketed to be waterproof.

Until Sony recalled the tablet a month or so later because it's actually not waterproof and a lot of people destroyed their tablets by taking it with them in the bath.

Too many Farkers are too busy choking the chicken in the shower to be concerned about this.
Oh, wait ! Now they can watch porn and pull the pud.

I wouldn't mind a waterproof tablet. Of course, it would also need a lot of steps against condensation.

I visit Madison quite often. Do they have a model that offers protection from condescension?

SealLine E-Series Case, rated to IP-X7 waterproof standards. They are touchscreen compatible and work great for reading my tablet in the bath or on the beach. The large tablet one cost me $23.
