As we said earlier, something is probably torn so they are having more tests done so they don't have to say that mid-firestorm. Need to plan their PR for Shanahan to still have a job.

It took them less than 4 hours to say everything was okey dokey with Griffin's knee when he was injured against Baltimore, my assumption is that if there wasn't something seriously wrong with it they might have mentioned that at some point in the last 18 hours.

first off, assume anything Shanahan said is a lie, that is his standard mode. I am betting it's bad. I like RG3, not the Skins, but he seems like a good kid.

If his ACL is shredded, Shanahan is gonna be in a world of hurt. Griffin should have come out after the 1st quarter.

After the first couple of drives when Griffin was hobbling slowly between plays, I was really hoping that he was actually %100 and just trolling the Seahawks. Then in the second half he could come out and turn on the afterburners.

I liked my plan better than the way things actually shook out. Ah well, hope he recovers, and that they stop showing slow-motion replays of his knee bending sideways.

Pretty sure you can't walk without that one. ACL/MCL you can, but I thought PCL held your leg-bones in position while walking.

You can walk on a torn ACL. Especially if you already have a brace on it. What you can't do is hop on it:

I think the Washington Redskins should trade for Mark Sanchez.  Mark Sanchez is one of the best players in football, having played for the New York Jets during the 2012 NFL season.  In addition, I have seen Mark Sanchez play in person, and he completed nearly thirty percent of his passes during our pickup game.  On one such play, he took off before seven Mississippi, claiming that the man on the line of scrimmage blitzed.  After nearly five minutes of heated discussion, the only conclusion is that we could replay the down.  On the next play, Mark Sanchez threw a pass for a first down.  Unbelievable.  Mark Sanchez is one of the ten best quarterbacks in the New York Jets' organization.  That's kind of the problem, though.  Why would we trade him to the Redskins?  The Redskins do not have a single player as good as Mark Sanchez.  I think the only fair trade would be Mark Sanchez for Mike "Nananana" Shanahan, the best coach in the National Football League.  Mike Shanahan is an absolute genius.  He never pushes his players too hard.  On one such play, Mike Shanahan's starting quarterback was told that should he apply pressure to his knee, he will never be able to walk again.  I do not remember what happened after that, but the point I am making is that Mark Sanchez can do it all.  He can walk, he can breathe air, he can even talk.  The Redskins need to trade for this man or the Redskins done goofed, and the consequences will never be the same.

You can walk on a tear to one of them, but without both it goes into gumby territory.

Well, he did tear the same ACL in college, so it's not a new sensation for him. Probably can look forward to tearing it again not too long after he comes back, too, with that track record.

True, but other muscles and tendons can do that if you walk very carefully, and you're already wearing a brace.

Hope Three Sticks is fine, but I dont put any faith in, "he walked on it afterwords so he must be fine!"

I tore my ACL years ago and tried to walk it off not knowing how much damage I did. My leg folded up like a lawn chair and I hit the deck again. I saw the play and immediately said bye bye ACL. The weirdest part of blowing out your ACL is hearing the loud pop in your head when it happens.

I remember Revis walked off the field after his injury, which was an torn ACL. I don't know about the others, but players can walk off the field after those injuries. I'm sure it depends on a lot of things

Unfortunately, the PCL is incredibly difficult to fix becuase it's practically inside the joint and is pretty small.

A couple roller derby teammates have completely destroyed their PCLs. They can walk without it, but require knee braces to skate.

I had an increasingly sick feeling in my stomach as the game progressed that he'd have the knee version of a Theismann.

Oh yeah, well in college I once tore all my ligaments in my left knee while rescuing 5 scantily-clad sorority sisters who were being attacked by wild Grizzly bears. How I fought off the bears is not of any importance (but it was with my bare hands, as I don't carry weapons on me as a matter of principle. I also don't own a TV) but the pain was admittedly slightly worse than that of a papercut. Then, my patella broke on top of it, which didn't hurt that badly because kneecaps are stupid but it did break the skin causing an outpoor of blood, which did worry me, so I was forced to rip out my achilles tendon and use it as twine with some leaves to form a rudimentary tourniquet. But seriously, how good is Mark Sanchez?

If RG3 is out for any significant time, it's no big deal. It's not like the Redskins gave up years of draft picks to get him.

Pretty elaborate long game move against the Seahawks. F*ck up your star so the Rams get great picks again and again and make it tough on the Seahawks in the future to even make the playoffs. Not sure what's in it for you, but you can go to hell right now.
