Tens units are for muscle stimulation/relaxation, and work damn well at it. Hook it up to your temples and you will regret it. Tens units are the same electronic principal as tazers.

I thought they already knew this. I had a friend in high school with some serious mental problems and he had to have electroshock therapy (or whatever medical equivalent term) more than a few times. I was in and out of a psychiatric hospital last year, got diagnosed bipolar and it was a little hard for me to come to terms that I was in fact not superman...... Anywho, there were a few patients who were undergoing ECT treatments, some seemed fine others did not. All of them looked like they had just gone through a weekend bender and were recovering from it. It must of been terrible for them since they could not eat nor drink anything the morning of their treatment day. Also if they had to undergo six rounds of treatment they would have to be in the hospital until they were through, and could only receive two rounds per week, so three week stay. I dunno... I hope it helped them out.
