The "Yes, Dear" of ongoing internet "jokes."

2013-01-07 12:40:11 PM
Well, the last two pages were funny. Pretty much when everyone started sh*tting on Matt Ryan.

2013-01-07 12:41:31 PM
Not always.

Kind of thinking about calling him the mighty aaron rodgers now...nope. Not going to make fetch happen.

anyways, that was better than the last few.

I'll admit it,

"CBS Sports (Orgasms)" is spot on. I really don't want a New England/Denver AFC Championship because I don't want to hear Nantz & Simms slobbering all over themselves for 3 hours.

It wouldn't matter who it was. At least they'd be slobbering over QBs that had done something. They'll slobber all over anything wearing a low jersey number.

I find myself enjoying these more as they develop the characters.

I am not sure what is more disgusting, that you used that reference here or that I got it.

///I have very little confidence that the Pack will beat the 49ers. McCarthy is way to willing to take his foot off the gas when things are working and way to slow to adjust when things aren't. If we are down 2 scores before halftime or a TD+ going into the 4th, I do not see a win happening. This would be a huge win if we pull it out.

I've been forced to watch that film. It wasn't THAT bad. It's best on mute.

I can't help but grin reading these things. And it makes me feel bad.

I can't farking wait, and I'm feeling the opposite way of last week: no matter the outcome of the game I will feel positive. To your point, I think Rodgers was fed up with McCarthy midgame. I love the post game interview, and how practically the first thing Rodgers said was that they didn't perform well offensively in the second half. You could tell he was not a happy camper at all.

Is it wrong that these horrible jokes make me laugh. Aaron Rogers screaming about Wilson over and over again, setting up his appearance at the end was worth it.

I'm subby of this weeks edition. I just loved that. And these posts are exactly why I am pulling for a GB/Seachickens NFC final. Because there would be some glorious one liners leading up to and following that game.

This could be very good.

i like how they kept setting up Russell Wilson, and then they sneak him in there unexpectedly at the end.  That was good.

I'm not gonna even post the "You know how I know" picture because having that as a favorite movie doesn't indicate you sexual preference, it just means you have terrible taste in movies.

I did not see the postgame interview, but I have heard it referenced that Rodgers was a bit forthcoming about his unhappiness about the play calling. I get that the goal is to win a Super Bowl and not face stomp the Vikings, but WTF, it's the playoffs man! You are not a big bad mouse and AP is a tasty piece of cheese that you want to play with. Funny enough I like that one too. And MG is one of my favorites. Tina Fey is just my thing perhaps. That is possibly how I know I'm still straight.

Not being a close follower of NFL nonsense (like what some players' sisters tweet, for instance) I actually appreciated the Rivers' contributions. Big Ben's addition was hilarious, especially when you read it in the voice that South Park used to lampoon him.

I will say, though, these things are not making me like Tom Brady very much. It is a shame that they cannot possibly lose to the Giants in the Superbowl again this season.

Pretty sure those bolded parts are in direct opposition to each other.

Also, the funny part about the Jennings' sister tweets is that they are not that removed from reality, she pretty much did say all of that.

//It is a big deal in Wisconsin (I agree it shouldn't be) when the best player on the favorite team gets hammered by someone tangentially related to the team and their connection to the team responds with, "I'm not saying she's right and I'm not saying she's wrong, she just has her own opinion." Enough uproar is generated every time JerMichael opens his fool mouth, now we have to deal with families getting in on the act?

The part with Jennings' sister was weak, but I loved the More Playoff Wins Than Matt Ryan Club. And Russell at the end.

It's too bad the other teams wouldn't be cool with "Hey, Greg, you felt like you weren't being treated as the only option here, so we decided to trade you for Larry Fitzgerald/Calvin Johnson. Enjoy having Skelton/Kolb/Lindley/Hoyer/Stafford throwing to you and never seeing the playoffs again. You sure will get thrown at often!"

/in fairness to Jennings, you can't really blast your family in public

The Packer's website daily 'Ask Vic' segment made it sound like Rodgers wasn't happy because the offense let off the gas before McCarthy did.

I have nothing against Jennings, but I gotta side with the Bill Belichick ideal here, do you want money or Super Bowls, Super Bowls I got, money ain't got none.

If he signs somewhere else and wins, good on him, I really wish him the best, as I do with all players who leave without bashing their team.

As far as the family thing, i just think he could have been a bit stronger in support of his teammate without putting down his sister at all. I wasn't expecting, "Well, my sisters are biatches and you KNOW biatches be crazy," just a "That's her opinion, not what goes on in the locker room."

But you can guess he probably helped put that stuff in her head himself. WRs ALWAYS want receptions.

/any time you need to be reminded of that, play a season in "superstar" mode or whatever it is on Madden as a WR
//WHAT THE F*CK ANOTHER RUN?

Reminded me of Big Trouble in Little China, such as the introduction of Gracie Law, the hard-nosed investigative reporter and lawyer (or however it goes).

"That's not very catchy."

"Neither are your passes."
