Even with the diagram, I can't figure this farking thing out.

That's because he's been smoking so long his brain is as smooth as a bowling ball. There's a molex connector that connects a standard desktop power supply to the transformer which drops the voltage and ups the amperage and outputs to a bare wire in the bowl. The bare wire heats the bud or the hash which vaporizes and is blown down through the water trap and into the balloon by exhaling into the mouthpiece and following the blue arrows. The balloon fills with cool, smooth smoke and by inhaling on the same mouth piece you draw it out. Presumably you get as much inhaled as you'd previously exhaled. It also conserves the bud/hash by only using what is vaporized when the wire is heating it and not what is used up in burning like a joint

Actually, awesome is sort of terrifying.

We've kind of diluted the word 'awesome' to simply denote cool stuff. Awesome is something so mind-numbingly terrifying and beautiful without words. Awesome is what the US soldiers saw when they threw the first nuclear bombs. Awesome is when the Russians launched the first artificial satellite into space.

Tr0mBoNe: Is "making bongs" a good enough reason to go into the glass blowing trade?

My friend tells me that glass "water pipes" retail for $150-500.
Cost of materials: $25

I know it's trashy but I do love making homemade bongs and bowls. Made one from an Easter egg and a funnel once. My pride and joy was the giant soap bottle with a stainless steel slide that you could shotgun yourself with.
