"VH1 is entertainment on steroids," said Calderone. "We have a legacy of cranking it up to 11...

I just never want to stop punching him in the face.

Why don't you just make 10 the loudest?

I can't remember the last time I watched VH1.  It went down the same rabbit hole that MTV did, and isn't worth my time.

Sadly the same is true of so many other channels.  TLC is probably the worst offender though the "History" channel is getting just as bad.  VH1 used to be a good channel.  Pop up video was very enjoyable.

Entertainment must have a knee injury that's keeping it on the disabled list, then.

Yeah, I remember when TLC was The Learning Channel (my lawn, get off it) and you could GASP! learn something by watching it.  The History Channel is starting to piss me off, though.  You're the History Channel, so why not show some programs about historical things?  Reality shows about ice road truckers, loggers, and aliens do not "history" make.

It was better when they were the Hitler channel.  Sure it was pretty WW2 heavy, but at least that's history.  I also miss mail call, that was a great show.

At the end of the day, he can break through the clutter and reach out to  find the empowerment and leverage to find a paradigm that has organic growth  and an eye for productivity and connectivity.

As long as they continue to offer high quality programming that enriches lives, I will be OK with this.

Military channel is better for that sort of thing these days. Hell, they started showing documentaries on ancient egypt and rome and the like.

They should change their name to V-H1N1, because most people avoid it like the plague.

Looks like "V H minus 1" to me.

People who get this excited over a logo are probably overpaid.

I think I'm more annoyed at Jenny McCarthy getting another show than a change in logo for a channel I've generally written off.

FTA: "build on the promise of delivering our bold and engaging mashup of music, pop culture and nostalgia that generates so much buzz." - Calderone

When VH1 gets busy, it gets biz-zay, Consistently and Thoroughly.

I feel we should rastafy Jenny McCarthy by 10 percent or so.

They've scheduled that in 2018 the week before they go off the air.

It coincides with the person who stated they had a legacy of cranking it up to 11 being jettisoned.

VH+11 is all about taking entertainment to the next level. That's why VH+11 is introducing their new Genocidal Power Hour with new Media Personality Superstar Joseph Kony following the always Zany and Outrageous Murderer Jenny McCarthy. Danger Zone!

It was, until I realized that they were going to be showing the same 10 videos over and over again.

STING, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Ray Vaughan

Could my spelling be any worse?

I remember when they started out they were "VH+1" and then took the "+" out to be "closer to the music." Guess the new branding is very telling.

I really miss the old announcer, who used to pronounce the channel's name like it was a Taiwanese novelist: "V. A. Chuan".

I just noticed I don't get VH1 on my current provider. I've had this provider from 16 months...

Thought that was Bravo? Or is Bravo just the Real Housewives Channel?

Cool, as long as they constantly air the show with the 3 boring dolts talking to 58 year old bandana-wearing hair metal losers, and the same 5 'Inside the Music' shows, I'll know not to bother checking what's on that station.

TLC should just change their name to TLCD (The Lowest Common Denominator) and be done with it.

/they could use Cop Shoot Cop's "Lo. Com. Denom." as their jingle

All those channels changing format is why I finally "cut the cord" year before last. Never could find anything worth watching. Find more to watch for FREE now with my OTA antenna than I did paying for 250 channels of garbage!

Jenny McCarthy? When was the last time she was relevant to anyone other than anti-vaccination derpers?

They're not ALL terrible.  For what it's worth, National Geographic is still a great channel with interesting programs.

I stopped after they cancelled Best Week Ever, which I mainly watched because of Chuck Nice and Doug Benson.
