WTF Indeed: President Merkin Muffley: rynthetyn: megalynn44: What is up with actors disrespecting the shows that made them a star? This is almost as bad as the Downton Abbey lead leaving for no farking reason and ruining the show.

You do know you're spoilering anybody who doesn't pirate Downton or doesn't live in the UK, right?

She's a female Republican. Don't attempt to reason with her.

Because that means what?

Someone that consistently votes against their own best interest is beyond reason?

TheManofPA: A) I would only want a cameo that shows he is married with a kid (i.e. his ultimate happy ending)
B) I want the strangler to be Creed Bratton...or the original Creed Bratton

Or they guy who got fired instead of Creed in the second season Halloween episode

Great Janitor: Toby is not the Scranton Strangler. The reason is that if he served on the jury and put away an innocent man, Toby, being the Scranton Strangler, would have no moral or ethical problems with it, just laugh that he sent an innocent man to prison for his crimes.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the series end kind of like how Blackadder ended most of their series, with most of the characters getting killed off. Have it where Dwight leaves to work the farm, Jim, Pam and Darrell leave for Philly with the camera crew filming from the parking lot as they drive away for the last time, then have the camera crew return to the office, everyone dead, blood everywhere, and Erin making some comment like "Oh, you're back already?" as she washes the blood off of her hands. Toby's final words caught on screen "She's the Scranton..."

Damn. I WOULD WATCH THE HELL OUT OF THAT.

I cannot, cannot watch this show. I do not like.. I'm not sure what the word is. "Embarassment humor"? Awkward humor? As in... like, all of Steve's actions on the show? I just feel embarassed and uncomfortable or the characters, and the Office tends to cause me near physical pain. This sort of rules out most US sitcoms, I realize.

/Fiance likes the show.
//The Jim and Dwight interactions I was present for were entertaining, though.

I hope Jan is the strangler.  She was always an angry biatch, and I doubt any fans of the show would be mad if it was her.

Lsherm: Is Steve Carell really so busy he can't come back for one episode?

rbaron71: It's his call, but c'mon, even Clooney found time for a cameo on the finale of ER.

MayoSlather: The Daily Show made him popular, but The Office made him a star. He should show some reverence to the show and come back for at least a small cameo.

NeoCortex42: meteorite: His "schedule"? This is the show that made him famous. Being a dick about it means he will be fighting giant spiders like the Skipper!

It's like his cameo on Life's Too Short. Gervais is responsible for the show that made him a star, but the most he could be bothered to do was a Skype call.

i guess y'all must go to your old jobs any time they ask because they can't function without you and you owe it to them. right?? the time-based contract you used to have doesn't actually apply if you're an actor, BECUZ YOR RICH NOW or something?

are you Gervais' agent? you seem to really know what he wanted for that one scene.

Dwhaerter: I always hoped the Scranton Strangler was Toby

I'd be pretty shocked if it was anyone else.

I did stop watching the show after Steve left the show, but caught up on everything recently. It still has it's moments, but lots of the writing now just seems like they don't know where to take things.

I always hoped the Scranton Strangler was Toby, proving that Michael was always right to have a hatred of Toby. Plus it'd be kind of amazing that Toby served as a juror for a man wrongfully convicted of being the Strangler.

/It'll probably be Creed

You mean like the end of the Christmas party in the original version?

I love Tim's ending in the original. That's how you give the audience what it wants but without complete pandering.

The strangler is either Ryan the intern or Gabe. They make the most sense without being as obvious as Creed.

I'm looking forward the seeing how the show wraps up. They've already done a good job improving the quality of this season drastically over the last few. The recent absence of Andy has certainly helped.
