i figured it was for the lack of foresight by comedy central for only locking them down for another two seasons.

Never watched it, any good? I think I've been avoiding it because it kinda looks like "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", which I can't stand.

If you don't like Always Sunny, I question your taste in comedy, but if you're not just trollin', then yeah, maybe you won't like it.

I don't keep up with it -- same with Always Sunny -- but I find them both hilarious when I happen to catch an episode. I actually find that happens to me with a lot of cult comedy shows. I would probably like Archer and Portlandia if I bothered to actually watch them.

Not trolling. I have many friends whose taste I share (for the most part) who rave about it, so I've tried. Every time I've turned it on all I ever see are a bunch of people all yelling at the same time.

I do like Archer, though.

Yeah, like that. I watched the first season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and never saw anything that made me even chuckle. I realize that comedy is subjective, but ASiP just never did it for me. Same with any promos or snippets of episodes of Workaholics.

i had a hard time liking it's always sunny as well. it's a funny show but it has no heart. in fact, that is precisely the point. i like comedy with a heart. workaholics is biting like it's always sunny (and its forbears) but workaholics is different in one huge way: the characters actually care about each other. it makes for a better show

I love Sunny, but it just seems like they've run out of good ideas. It's not bad now, it's just that each new episode seems to run over the same old ground, even if they came up with a new scheme. But it's still enormously entertaining.

Workaholics is still fresh (heh). I'd like to see if they can keep it up (heh heh). In a couple of years they're going to start looking too old to play the part--hopefully they'll fold when it's time, or else change directions in a good way.

You make it sound like that's a bad things. Workaholics is the funniest show I've seen in a long time. It's rare for an episode not to make me laugh out loud, and I almost never do that. It's disturbingly unhinged.

I like both, but sunny does have parts I cringe at watching.

If you can relate to a few drunk stoner-friends who work together and add in a lot of really absurd plots that lead to a punchline at the end of the episode, it's pretty good.

The Juggalos episode was one of my favorites, but it probably would be best to start from the beginning since they do occasionally refer to previous jokes. The one where they try to do the To Catch a Predator thing to a perv and instead become best friends with him was pretty funny also.

It's definitely not for everyone though.

I don't like It's Always Sunny, but I farking love Workaholics. Watch the first episode, you'll either love it or not.

I will say that Workaholics does have a lot of references unique to the 25-35 year old age group.

The reason that Workaholics is hilarious is similar to why Seinfeld was hilarious. All of the characters resemble people I know in real life, and the situations they get into are initially believable but then the escalation takes them into an hysteric lala land.

I love this show.

The shrooms episode is probably the most accurate tv approximation that there has ever been for an actual shroom trip.

You sound like a Nielsen employee...I know a few that work at the mega-compound here in Tampa Bay.

/Workaholics is mindless enjoyment, and worthy. Though I find only 1-2 in 3 episodes is really funny. But when they are funny, they are "lol" funny

Workaholics is the kind of show that I am careful to recommend. It's not a mass appeal/network type show. But, the ones who like it, will love it.
