Will he have to live in Russia for this to work? I know he's rich and all but living in a different culture isn't the same as going on a luxury vacation there.

Of course he thinks Russia is Paradise. He has an in with Putin and he has enough money not to suffer like the common Russian people or immigrants. You think Putin wants to give a Hollywood star a hard time?

Geeezzz, you'd think that teabaggers would love a flat rate of 15%.......

Oh wait, you don't pay taxes , because you mooch off the Republican State governments who mooch off of the blue states for all your bills.

Silly Jesus and his favorite saying: " I hates socialism but gimme my check every two weeks or I will hold up a sign with the words 'socialism is bad for everyone but me'." Durrrrrrr

Now why don't you go into the threads on how Republicans voted down the hurricane Sandy bill, so the billions of dollars can be saved for the Confederacies hurricane relief instead.

Next up on Survivalist radio... How you can lure people into your fall out shelter, in order to eat them as food.

On guns and Ammo... How to not shoot your cousin in the head while taking a facebook photo.

Alcohol and gambling weekly... How you can use your welfare debit card to gamble and buy alcohol.

The Rush Limbaugh show... How to go to Costa Rica to get all your needs fulfilled. Little blue pills and tight young male ass.

Going from one state to another in a united country is not the same as fleeing to a radically different country and you know it.

Vectron: wonder how many farkers would like to be taxed at that rate

Considering "that rate" doesn't kick in until you are above $1.3 Million in income, I imagine MOST Farkers would love to be facing that predicament. Only those Farkers who are reeling in a Million $'s per year or more, would be inconvenienced. I would love to trade that rate than live at my current wage (building my own business, so pickings are slim at the moment).

Hey Depardieu, let me ask you something: You think you would have EVER been allowed to exploit your talents in Russia back in the day? I hope you don't forget that the last couple of "artists" who dared voice an anti-government opinion in the modern day state of Russia are currently serving prison sentences. You may want to be certain you don't slip up, a nice dip of a polonium tipped umbrella tip in the back of the calf and your days on Earth are done.

Like most civilized countries the rich live by a different set of rules than the commoners. Thats why the pussy riot members are in jail for insulting Putin and a former Frenchman with a lot of money is getting honorary citizenship for insulting the poofers.

You give me the money, I'll happily pay that tax on it.

This didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Isn't he retired? Tough to believe he's even close to the maximum rate.

/Don't allow him to enter the EU, see how long he likes living in Russia.

One article I read had him paying something like 85%, which is when he decided to up and leave. Apparently he left behind a chunk for the state itself...
