Vince Guaraldi, without a doubt, wrote and performed one of the best Christmas songs ever.

In Detroit, we leave them on the street with a sign - For Sale, the next day they are gone.

Stolen.

Don't put one up in the first place.

They really didn't get rid of it. It's only 50 feet away. Needed more splosions.

Strap a bunch of solid rockets to a Christmas tree and shoot it into the air, take videos showing a bunch of different angles, including one on the tree itself!

And then a bunch of guys complain it should have blown the fark up, too.

THIS is why, despite all its problems, I love America so much!

Lighting it on fire before launch would have also worked I think.

Why get rid of it? It will quietly stay where it's planted for the next Christmas.

Better than my asshole neighbors who decided to burn theirs in their backyard and fill up my house with not-so-christmassy-smelling smoke.

If by get rid of it you mean, shoot it in the air and have it land a few feet from where it started then yeah. I guess they did.

The bad part is that it wasn't a live tree, it was a plastic one.
