He's got like 15 months left at Sirius, and he hates them with the burning of a thousand suns, so I can't see him re-signing.

CNN? Meh why not, it would be interesting, although it would blow beyond anything to not have Howard radio to listen to anymore.

I'm ok with this, it's not like they do the news anyway.

He should go to Fox News instead. He may just be able to get Megyn Kelly to admit she likes anal on live TV.

Ah, some of that "News you can stick your dick in."

Giving Howard a straight interview show would be pretty cool. His actual interviews are pretty good and he at least asks probing questions outside of "what are you here promoting".

Though he does interview porn stars, its not nearly as common as people think.

I no longer listen to Howard because I can't afford my Sirius subscription. However, the news on their show, including the back-and-forths between he and Robin Quivers, were always far more intelligent than half the crap I ever heard from cable pundits.

Howard replaced Piers Morgan on America's Got Talent. He should do it on CNN next.

Howard Stern on CNN. Two has-beens trying to work it out together. Really, I know Howard is big but it's been years since he's been so influential. He's just coasting on his name now.

Ahhhhh the annual Howard stern to.......wherever articles, must be close to time for contract negotiations.

Who thinks Howard would help CNN? Because he did such wonders for Americas got talent.....

Your subscription must have lapsed a LONG time ago. The "news" on there is nothing more than Robin scanning HuffPo for 5-7 outrageous and/or celebrity-related headlines and her then reading them and Howard commenting or not.

I used to love Howard but it crashed royally when Artie left. The level of effort put into the show since the new contract is pitiful.

Artie was a big loss, but I think you're being too dismissive. I listened up until roughly a month ago, and Howard remained great at taking a big topic in the news and ranting on it for a significant time while still being funny. He was also respectful of people who called or came in to disagree.

Seems like CNN is scooping up grey-hair celebrities popular with younger crowds lately. Or is it just me? Bourdain and Stern don't make a huge track record, though.

I don't think CNN is satisfied with Piers Morgan replacing Larry King. I don't love Stern, but he could do well in that role

Howard Stern is a farking tool and needs to go away

As long as he is the non-cartoon version of himself that he plays on the radio and that he played on America's Got Talent, then this could actually work.

CNN is already full of meaningless crap, he'd have to do hard news.

Given the direction CNN is going lately, I can see this being something that they would consider seriously.

"Reporting Live from election headquarters, here are Anderson Cooper, Howard Stern, and Kathy Griffin."

Yeah, that will work out just fine. Just add Gilbert Gottfried and you have got a sure-fire ratings winner.

Eligarf: "Reporting Live from election headquarters, here are Anderson Cooper, Howard Stern, and Kathy Griffin."

Crossfire, featuring Howard Stern and Wolf Blitzer.

Spoiled Rotten Pets? That sounds like something the old Howard would mock.

Or, alternatively, maybe he's just some guy on the radio that some people like, and some don't.

Put him on morning express with Robin Meade, I'd love to see him grill her on some uncomfortable topics
