Took this picture at lunch today... figure I'll post it here. This is the side of the Capitol. They are drilling core samples... something to do with an upcoming renovation. Anyway, this truck was like this last night... so obviously a 7.5 quake 200 miles away did not cause any problems here.

Nope, I was just walking by.

I asked that question, and they said they would just lift a little bit at a time and set up aa new layer of cribbing. The two jacks run independent of each other.

Kenny B: That doesn't look OSHA approved.

at first glance it looks kind of sketchy, but cribbing is a legit practice. Well, except maybe for the one level where it is steel wheels... but who am I to judge?

I think it was the morning that I fell that night.  But there was no ice when I fell, it was not realizing the sidewalk dipped down to a driveway and essentially stepping in an unexpected pothole with my bad leg.

We had freezing fog last week.  woo were the roads slippery with black ice that morning.

Was that around the time you fell?

I think it was the morning that I fell that night.  But there was no ice when I fell, it was not realizing the sidewalk dipped down to a driveway and essentially stepping in an unexpected pothole with my bad leg.

Ah, got you. I guess both my hearing and memory are all muddled up tonight. I totally forgot you said that earlier this week.

Fecal Conservative: 400ft is a lot of snow.

I think that was the "snow level"... which is the elevation that precipitation is snow, not rain. The city is at sea-level, but is surrounded by mountains that rise up to about 4000ft. You can look at a mountain and actually see where the snow level was... it''l be greengreengreenWHITE

There appears to be a great deal of discrepancy in the spelling of the word. Past literature spells it as I did, but WP shows that your interpretation is more accepted today. What I meant was little salt water worms that invade and degrade my dick. Don't really need these at this time as I have a lady friend (almost my age) who seems to want to fark me blind.

Crabs, but not termites, I gather.

WRONG! I'm so old that I don't worry about crabs, I'm afraid my morning wood has termtes.

//NOW!

I'll bet you're just swimming in pussy, am I right?

Have a great rudder, but worry a lot about tournedos

You worry about small cuts of beef filet?

There appears to be a great deal of discrepancy in the spelling of the word. Past literature spells it as I did, but WP shows that your interpretation is more accepted today. What I meant was little salt water worms that invade and degrade my dick. Don't really need these at this time as I have a lady friend (almost my age) who seems to want to fark me blind.

/Leave me alone - my vision means little.

you're really focused on worms and burrowing insects in your dick, aren't you?

My apology. Too much G&T. The above comments were meant for hipcheckgal. I want in her panties.

doubled99: Does every farker who has a college radio shift get a thread on Fark?

soosh is not a college student. As he said up thread he does this show for free and it's a public radio station in Juneau, Alaska, not a college radio station. This thread is posted each Saturday evening on both TFD & the main page so everyone can enjoy some good music.

Please consider tuning it this Saturday. I think you might be pleasantly surprised.
