Rubber Biscuit: From what I can discern, no one who grew up in the nineties ever became an adult. All they ever do is wax nostalgic about their childhoods and whine whenever anyone or anything connected with their formative years does literally anything. A generation completely wasted on themselves.

I don't know if it counts as growing up in the 90s (I was born in 83), but I kind of agree with your summation.

I wouldn't say that that navelgazing is restricted solely to 90s kids -the "they raped my childhood!" exclamations seems to be very much an 80s kids thing- but the waxing nostalgic over some not-great things about the 90s has always been odd to me. (i.e. I had an N64 and even enjoyed it at the time, but the nostalgia over what is essentially only a half dozen or so genuinely great games doesn't really make much sense to me; Rocko's Modern Life was also the only Nicktoon worth a damn, yet the want to spend their time reminiscing about farking Rugrats, etc.)

FuryOfFirestorm: the801: "X = Why?" was brilliant. now i wanna watch some pete n pete.

also, Syd Straw played the math teacher "Miss Fingerwood" {smirk}, and Gordon Gano played the substitute teacher.

Iggy Pop, Michael Stipe and Kate Pierson of the B-52's also has parts on the show.

TONS of people were. I remember seeing Juliana Hatfield as the lunch lady and Ellen Cleghorne as a bus driver. There were more, but I can't think of them right now.

If only there were some tool, perhaps computerized, to which I could provide this question and it would list resources where I may be able to find the answer.

My most lingering memory from ren and stimpy is a man drinking beaver urine.

I saw the Mounted Canadian Yaksmen episode with a head full of acid, just coming up on my trip.  I thought I was going to die laughing when the yak gets heatstroke and goes into a messianic frenzy.
